NT coach waiting to see if Manolas will be available to play the two nation leagues games.....

Apparently the new coach will start to implement some of these players to the NT but not during this November call ups as they are playing in the qualifiers... …….To see new blood like Galanopoulos, Chatzigiovannis, Tsimikas, Limnios, Koulouris, and Vlachodimos (if EPO get their priorities straight) in his call-ups for the EURO 2020 qualifiers. Do not expect some of these players in November’s call ups for the Nations League because they will be fighting with the Greece U21 squad against Austria in the qualifying playoffs for a spot in the EURO 2019 finals.

I don't think it will be a disaster... I mean Raneri was a disaster and Skibbe was horrible as well.. I only see an improvement over the past guys we had.. Now if we see Tziolis and Tzavellas called up then I will retract my statement.. Lets not judge the guy on the first game either as with anything there will be a transition period..

I'm reading a lot of negative comments on social media about Anastasiadis, People are saying he's a disaster.. I know nothing about this guy.. Is he that bad??

I just read Skibbe is going to be fired as well today or tomorrow the announcement will follow and Anastasiadis will take over... http://www.sport-fm.gr/article/podosfairo/teleiwnei-o-skimpe-anastasiadis-i-anastasiou-o-diadoxos/3561052

Unfortunately the EPO came out and said that there is no truth to them speaking or having interest in Ang... I completely Agree we need a coach that can pick our best players as I truly believe we have enough talented players to be a class B team maybe not with the Belgiums and the France teams but we should be able to compete with the teams under that level and should be able to beat teams we are currently losing too.. The problem is our players have no game plan and look lost out there and everyone looks like there trying to do everything themselves.. we have no strategy no unity no set plan of which way they need to play.. Skibbe just fills body’s on the field and pretty much says don’t concede a goal.. we need a coach that will bring us structure, play a system that will get the most out of the players.. I’m sick of watching teams like Hungary and Finland out play us not on talent but becasue they have a better system then the NT.. This can only change with a new coach that has a good background and won’t take s%$#! from anyone..

Looks like Skibbe isn’t going anywhere.. looks like the EPO has had a change of heart and are now killing skibbe for the remainder of the Nations league and the Euros... This is so demoralizing to the fans and the better of the the team.. So f..king pissed about this.. only reason the EPO is Doug this is so they don’t have to Buy skibbe our and pay him a big lump of money so for that reason we are stuck with this clown...

lol... Lets be honest though it didn't work well with an Italian in Raneri, a coach from Uruguay and a German coach so why not try a Greek born coach from Australia??

Now we are honestly looking at an impossible task to make the Euros as only the top 2 spots make it. We are looking at having 2 teams that are much more superior to us and if we drop into pot 4 then we are looking at 3 difficult teams.. This nations league was truly our best opportunity in the an easy group... Skibbe should have been sacked after failure to get us to the world cup but waiting this long will cost us another tournament.. I'm starting to read that if he gets positive results in his next two matches he will lead us to the Euros... We are going to be screwed for a long time...

Sibbe will get to finish the Nations League games in November... https://www.sport24.gr/football/ellada/ethniki_elladas/me-skimpe-ws-to-telos-toy-nations-league.5341321.html

Really? Wow... lol

Don't know if it is truly bullshit as these are also being reported by new outlets as well. https://translate.googleusercontent.com/translate_c?depth=1&hl=en&prev=search&rurl=translate.google.ca&sl=el&sp=nmt4&u=http://www.novasports.gr/podosfairo/diethneis/nations-league/article/414656/ki-allos-aggelos-upopsifios-gia-tin-ellada/&xid=17259,15700021,15700124,15700149,15700186,15700190,15700201,15700214&usg=ALkJrhh3Bnq_dHGWnSkO5arjfubCtSctIQ https://www.sport24.gr/football/ellada/ethniki_elladas/protash-ths-ethnikhs-elladas-ston-postekogloy.5340563.html

We have all mentioned this over and over again but lets be completely real about Skibbe.. This so called coach has NO game plan and offers absolutely NOTHING to the NT.. He consistently gets out coached by the apposing teams coach and his tactics are very easy to read from other teams.. Skibbe just puts players in regardless of their natural position and he expects them to perform and when it doesn't work he does it over and over again instead of learning from his mistakes.. He offers NO set plays no offensive creativity whatsoever and his in game subs are ALWAYS the wrong moves.. He is either too LAZY to scout the right players to be called up or he is truly just incompetent which I truly believe.. If he truly knew what he was doing as a coach he would have never constantly played Tzavellas over Holebas who would be a HUGE upgrade and something we desperately need. It took Skibbe forever to call up Laz, Fetfa, Kourb, Bakakis and so on. Instead he was all about Velios and company... Having Kouloris playing and subbing in for Mitro is a bad decision right now, let the kid play for the junior team he's not ready for the NT.. Not calling up Siovas is another mystery to be honest.. Bottom line he is one of if not the absolute WORST coach we have had and the game against Estonia at home in the WC qualifier and the 2 games against Croatia should have opened everyone's eyes that this coach is clueless and he is dragging the NT further and further in the gutter where we are now.. We need another coach ASAP to bring some freshness and hope to this team... Right now it's not looking good for us to qualify for the Euros and a 3rd consecutive tournament missed..

Apparently the Epo is on a tight budget (damn crooks) so they are in no position to pay out Skibbe and pay for a new coach..

WTF I also just read that this F..king coach will be given another chance.. I don’t think. I can handle to watch anymore with him... That means he will lead us into the F..king Euros...

Bro you’ve been saying the opposite.. you said A,B,C,D don’t all get one spot at the Euros which was is wrong.. which in fact it’s very clear that 1 team from each Leavue A B C and D will get one spot at the Euros.. you’ve been saying the opposite..

No way they will becasue they already said they can onlt afford to pay the new coach what Skibbe was making which was between $500,000-$600,000 Euros.. No way in hell does a top guy come for that money...

Guys read below especially the underlined... It clearly says 1 Team from each league will qualify to the Euros... meaning each league is Group A B C D.. Euro 2020 qualifying play-offsEdit Teams which fail in the UEFA Euro 2020 qualifying group stage may still qualify for the final tournament via the play-offs. Each league in the UEFA Nations League will be allocated one of the four remaining UEFA Euro 2020 places. Four teams from each league which have not already qualified for the European Championship finals will compete in the play-offs of their league, to be played in March 2020. The play-off berths will be first allocated to each group winner, and if any of the group winners have already qualified for the European Championship finals, then to the next best ranked team of the league, etc.

Here is the article that says the 3 candidates as well as Skibbe is meeting with Grammanos shortly.. www.agonasport.com/agonasport-allnews/grammenos-and-skibbe-set-to-end-cooperation

So apparently it is coming down to these 3 guys so far... Who would you guys rather have of the 3 if these are our only choices? Angelos Anastasiadis Laszlo Boloni Villas-Boas

@Dean97 I agree if the new coach in his first game calls up Tzavellas and Tziolis I may be done as well... I'm also hearing the Skibbe might be given the chance to finish the last 2 games which is a big mistake.. I personally prefer a foreign coach but maybe a Greek coach will be an easier transition especially if he is familiar with the our players since we are so close to the Euros.. Realistically they need to find someone within the next week in order for the new coach to be able to be with the team for the last 2 games..

If they’re going to fire Skibbe then they better find his replacement quick as we need whonever the new coach is to get at least 2 competitive games under his belt so he can see what he has to work with before the Euros start.. DO NOT let Skibbe finish the Nations League cut ties with that clown right now..

The chances of that happening are slim to knon as there are a lot of teams in group B That don’t qualify for the Euros so they will be next in-line to get the spot in the nations league.. our best hope would be Finland qualify for the Euros via the euro qualifiers that way the 2nd place team which is currently Greece would take Finland’s spot in the playoffs..

For sure the team has issues and we only have a few good players but realistically we never had a “Neymar,Messi or Mbappe” and we never will and most teams won’t.. All we want from a new coach is to play our best players possible and create a system where the players look like they know what they are doing out there.. A good system with a few good players sounded by other players that fall into the coaches system and play as unit can also be successful.. PS in 2004 we never had the the players you mentioned above either.. So saying you can’t be successful unless you have one superstore is not true at all. It helps but I think we do have some talent if it’s utiluzed the right way..

Something we've been saying since the beginning with this coach.. http://www.agonasport.com/agonasport-allnews/skibbe-out
