If you guys remember Greece was held at home to Georgia during the EURO 2012 qualifiers. They have not lost one single match during qualifications. Against Croatia, 1 win 1 draw, against Israel 1 win 1 draw, Georgia 1 draw 1 win (even though Greece needed a draw to qualify as group winners). So it is still possible Greece can win this group or grab a playoff spot as long as they win the remaining matches with the exception of getting one draw vs. either Sweden or Spain. All hope is not lost.

She knocked off Osaka! (6-0, 6-4) She clearly dominated this match. Down 4-1 in the 2nd set and fought back to win 5 straight games to finish her off.

Maria Sakkari will face Naomi Osaka in the quarterfinals of the Miami Open. If she pulls off the upset, she might have a good shot at winning her 2nd WTA title.

This song I dedicate to Greece's 200th anniversary of independence.

Greece have to focus on their own matches and beat teams they are suppose to like Georgia and Kosovo.

What do you know, Spain scores a winner from Olmo. 2-1 final Shenglia will be banned vs. Greece for getting a late red card.

I am hoping for a draw.

So much promise ends with so much disappointment! Papachristou fouled on her last 2 attempts! This is an epic fail! She will never be competitive when it matters most on the world stage!
-
Shockingly, Papachristou is in 5th place at 14.31. Was not expecting Eckhardt and Skvartsova to be in the medal position. Mamona broke Portugal's national indoor record of 14.53 and leading. Papachristou has 2 jumps left, she needs to deliver a late magic to grab any kind of a medal.
