As I checked for tomorrow's events with Greek athletes participate, Stefanidi in women's pole vault final, Filiou in women's rhythmic gymnastics all-around, and both walking events men's and women's. 2 Greek women take part in the 20 m walk while 1 Greek man in the 50 m walk.

I watched the women's 200 m finals, that Dutch woman is incredible! Too bad she got silver, she wasn't too happy about that.

Douvalidis didn't not reach the finals as he missed it by 0.06 seconds (13.47). But, even if he reached the finals, he would not have won the medal anyways. However, a Cypriot made a historic final appearance in any track event, finished 7th in the 110 m hurdle finals.

Sweden eliminated Brazil, once again.....on penalty kicks lol Sweden and Germany will be fighting for the gold, Canada and Brazil for the bronze.

Well, all I can say is this Greek water polo team didn't expect to reach the quarterfinals. It's a very young team and in years to come they will get better.

I'm still proud of Gianniotis, he was around 12th position in the race and surged his way to a medal. Nothing to be ashamed of.

As far as Filippidis goes in the Men's Pole Vault, he failed to convert his final 3 attempts and finished 7th. :(

As I watched the 110 m hurdle, Konstadinos Davoualidis finished first in Heat 4 with a time of 13.41 (5th best overall) and advance into the semifinals. I think he will need a better time in order to qualify for the finals.

I saw that event, he was flawless!!! Bravo Eleftherios!!!!!

Paraskevi Papachristou finished 8th in the Women's Triple Jump at 14.28 In the quarterfinals, Greece will face Italy in the Men's Water Polo

In Synchronized Swimming, Greece pair Evangelia Papazoglou and Evangelia Platanioti finished 10th in Duet Free Routine with a score of 86.100. Tomorrow, they will perform the Duet Technical Routine. It's a good showing, but I am not expecting them to win medals.

Greece lost to Australia 12-7, even though Greece advances to the quarterfinals, I have a bad feeling that a loss like this one could get in there heads. It doesn't matter if they face Italy, Spain, Croatia, or Montenegro, you better bring your A game or it's go home.
