  1. Stefanidi is locked for silver for now
  2. Bengtsson is the luckiest bronze medalist in this competition Most of the women can't jump over 4.55 :o
  3. Stefanidi in second with 4.65 behind Ryzih
  4. Stefanidi surprisingly missed her first attempt at 4.55 Second try she succeeded She is just warming up ;)
  5. She failed, bronze medal for Papachristou! Second medal for Greece!!!!
  6. Papachristou is locked up for bronze, she has one last chance to better Mammona and Gierisch.
  7. hahahaha! Didn't Filippidis do doping too?
  8. Today, we are hopefully for 2 more medals for Greece in Belgrade.
  9. Tough luck for Spanoudaki in the women's 60 m heat, a false start DQ her from the competition. Also, tough luck for Stamatogiannis in the men's shot put qualification, finished second to last with a measurement of 18.83 m
  10. In the U.S., the second leg in Turkey will be televised on Fox Sports 2.
  11. He got silver, big bravo to Filippidis!!!
  12. I am just happy he is getting his first European Indoor Championship medal.
  13. Filippidis is locked for a medal!!!!!
  14. Jan Kudlicka finally missed an attempt after a perfect start
  15. He just passed 5.85!!!! BTW, new national indoor record
  16. That was pressure for Filippidis ! He is still alive for a medal.
  17. In order for Greece to stay in second place, Greece can only lose by 1 goal and for Bosnia to beat Gibraltar by 3 goals or less. This is why in a match like this, Greece must avoid losing
  18. Milan Trajkovic of Cyprus won the heat with an impressive 7.56 (2nd best overall), just 3/10 of a second in front of Orlando Ortega of Spain. :o
  19. This is BS, Pesiridou finished 8th overall in the semifinals with a time of 8.10 but doesn't go to the finals just because she finished 5th in the heat, but Kallur goes to the finals with a time of 8.12 (9th best overall) and finished 4th in her heat. Top 8 with the best time should be competing in the finals.
  20. Papachristou qualified for the finals with a measurement of 14.12 m Pesiridou reached the semifinals with a time of 8.08
  21. Olympiakos cannot perform like this against Besiktas or else they will destroy us.
  22. Stefanidi, obviously yes and could win gold (even less than 4.90 m). No one is a real threat only Ryzih and Bengtsson are the good ones in the pool. Papachristou may win gold if Mamona or Gerrish don't jump better than 14.75 m. Filippidis is an enigma, he can be good or he could fail badly. My high hopes is on Karalis and he is just 17.
  23. Same, maybe three depending if our young Greek pole vaulter Karalis may impress us since his world jr. record he shattered in Athens.
  24. haha I beat you to it!
  25. List of Greek athletes to participate in Belgrade MEN'S Pole Vault Kostas Filippidis Emmanuel Karalis Shot Put Michali Stamatoyiannis WOMEN'S 60 m hurdles Elisavet Pesiridou 60 m Rafailia Spanoudaki-Hatziriga Pole Vault Ekaterini Stefanidi Triple Jump Paraskevi Papachristou
