@GrkCdn22, I did come to your defence because I believe you do have the right to express your opinion. If others don't agree with it, so be it. You are persistent, I'll give you that. Having said that, saying #winning won't win you any favours, especially once the discussion starts getting heated.

The ironic thing is Korovesis was the "main" signing we were after at the time to help out with the LB position. Charisis was thrown in as part of the transfer afterwards. I don't like the chances of Korovesis getting playing time and I think his best bet is a loan. Right now, Tudor seems to favour Leovac, Kitsiou, Rodrigues, Mak in front of him. And there's always Travellas as well.

I don't see why GrkCdn's posts should be stirring up people, unless maybe they are hyper sensitive. There is no swearing or cursing. No belittling of posters or innuendo. It's just his opinion. I don't have to agree with it, and neither does anyone else. If you don't like his posts, block them, but don't get your knickers in a knot because he says something you don't agree with.

Karnezis's performance in the WC really pissed me off. That coupled with the fact he looked like he was ready to soil his pants at any point really didn't endear him to me. But, the fact remains he's been playing really well, at a very decent club in a very decent league. He's hands down the only realistic option for GK for the foreseeable future.

My expectation is that he plays his best 11 and does his damn best to qualify in the top 2 in the group. That is achievable. Winning the title is not. Therefore, the game against PAO should be a lower priority. Thus, the conundrum.

I find it surprising that he would say Europe isn't the priority. PAOK lives for their "european nights". Maybe he thinks we got a shot at the title, or maybe he just didn't think about the comment before he said it ...

I've always rated Skondras. Easily on our best 3 players last season. Unfortunately maybe playing 3 at the back doesn't suit him, but you'd think that given the CB's of Vitor, Costa, Tzavellas, Malezas he would have had some starts by now. The fact that he hasn't is a worry. So if you do throw him in now and he's a bit rusty, is it his fault ?

That injury to Olsen seems awfully convenient. Playing Malezas and Skondras seems like lunacy. Other than Olympiakos, this is probably the strongest team we will be facing so far this season. And you go and change 2 out of 3 of your CB's and your GK ?

This makes no sense, except in Greece of course. Dellas was sacrificed on the alter of Melisanidis, at least that's how it appears to me. Was he doing that bad a job ? AEK only lost 2 games so far this season. Away to Olympiakos and away to PAOK. Hardly the worst results. Other than those games, AEK was coming along just fine. As for Meli, I don't understand this guy. If you are worth 3 billion, why would you spend only 160K on your beloved team. Maybe it was a setup all along and he didn't want Dellas but couldn't find a way to get rid of him.

Agree, but I don't see this as the game Tudor will be experimenting in. I'm hoping once we're done with the derby with PAO, he starts trying out some of the other players. At the end of the day, what I want to know is what each of the new signings has to give to the squad. Rodrigues has shown what he can do. Leovac seems like he'll cement the LB position. Sabo is a concern. Olsen, oh Olsen. I want to see more of Charisis and especially Cimirot. Hoping for big things from this player. Hoping ...

Agree, aside from the EL Qualifying matches, this is the most important game of the season so far.

The team was leaking goals for the second half of last season. This season, they are still doing the same. Statistically, our defence is one of the weakest in the GSL. The management knew this and only brought in Malezas. The team concedes goals from set pieces easily. To blame Olsen is easy. Why did you bring him to the club if you knew he's not strong on set pieces ? Oh, you didn't know ....

Rumour has it a 37 year old. Might be a bit young for PAOK though. I'm sure he's got a couple of good years before he needs to retire at PAOK. Bring on the youth. Build for the future, etc.

Seriously, he should be happy to play for no wages right now, just so he could stay fit. Playing actual game minutes would be a bonus.

I like the idea of playing Klaus and Berbatov up front. I think increasingly we'll need something like this to help break down teams that play deep.
