I actually think it will be an open game with both teams going at it for the win, or so I imagine lol I agree about your defence, we can really trouble you BUT it also depends who we play up top. It will really be a battle of the midfield in my opinion, whoever can control that may favour them to win the game. Our defence also has its moments so hopefully this weekend they are all on their game. We need an early goal to settle us down, if we go behind early then there will a lot of pressure on the players.... Lastly I just hope no m*****es happen and this game is played with no issues.

What I have noticed is that without Simeos in the team we struggle, against Oly when he got taken off it was 1-0, which became 4-0 Last weekend vs Atromitos he was out and we lost. For me he does a whole heap of work for us which we seem to rely on, so hopefully he is on his game this weekend. I read last night that Barbosa is trying his hardest to make the game, would be great to have him playing. Is anyone confident we can end their unbeaten run? I feel we can do it BUT it will take a massive effort from all the players.

We will get a stadium ban for sure, but the law doesn't state anything about points being docked BUT its Greece and if fatboy makes a call to Kontonis as we know he has done it many times and since we are playing them this weekend, I expect any punishment to be given to us. Im not underestimating PAO because as I just said its anyone's spot come playoff time but from now until end of season I think our run home is slightly easier than what theirs is.... The depth we have Pana we have always had it but we needed to strengthen in areas especially CB and ST and now that Tzane has re-signed and also signing Pekhart we have semi solved our issues.... PAOK has no depth and you guys just signed a few but really you lack upfront since Karelis was sold...

I agree Amo and I wont write them off as come playoffs anyone can win that CL spot. But I feel our run home is slightly better than theirs, but time will tell. If we beat them at home that will be a massive boost for us, we got a tricky run coming up so from the next 5 we need to get minimum 12 points, the Oly game is my only concern because in all honesty they do have a good roster, but playing at OAKA anything van happen.....

PAO signing Leto doesn't bother me at all the guy has hardly played the last 2 years and his team refused to pay out his remaining contract which was 400K, that says enough..... They have brought in players but none are brilliant, our roster is way better than theirs. They let Karelis go who was one of their better players and Berg hasn't got the form he did last season, so don't see what's to worry about, plus if you look at the run home with 10 game left our run is way easier than their run. As for Scocco yes I would love him to wear the yellow and black again but lets be serious now, he is 30yo so don't know what we would get out of him.

Correct Original and I do agree and yes they made mistakes and will still make some along the way its only normal and many clubs suffer this at times, BUT as long as they see their mistakes and fix it then we as fans should be happy. The way the team is fairing now when I hear someone whinge it snaps me..... Also agree with spending abit on a CB, but hopefully now that Tzane signed he may get game time.

Dikefale I agree I really cant stand seeing people call him tight and bag him, do they realise where AEK would be if he didn't step in? The sad thing is some people just don't have patience, he isn't going to build a championship winning team in one season, but the team he has built is full of talent and with a few more faces we can only get stronger. Juve is my prime example, they got relegated and it took them 5 years to get where they are and look at them now, ok we aren't going to be making CL finals if we do WOW but the set up and approach they took worked for them and it didn't happen in a season.

I remember that game we smashed them. Thought that was the last time we went there, dark day, but who thought 2.5 years later we would be in this position and with this coach and the team playing with so much confidence.

No he hasn't but he has got tutors who are teaching him Greek so surely this must say something if he is attempting to learnt the language. He has done a fantastic job so far, read the other day last time AEK was 8 from 8 was 10 years ago. He knows the game, he knows what he needs to succeed, he can attract players just because of who he is, he just needs the backing and support of management and then we can honestly mount a good title challenge next season.

Cant wait to see what tactics they attempt to try next weekend at OAKA to get the game called off or abandoned, xeftiles. Last season they tried stopping the game because AEK fans were burning their pania, yet when they did it at their boudello in the 1st leg it was ok. And that's after they delayed the 2nd leg for 3 weeks so they could be fresh, so much fear against a 2nd division team at the time.
