Its funny in Greece how all the political groups are pointing fingers at each other but in reality you only have 1 choice and that is to accept higher taxes in return for money to pay off your loans. No political group would have fared any better. Maybe we wouldn't have capital controls if the crap didn't happen last year but the whole system was dead.

Well they are lowering the tax free threshold to 8600 Euros but does it really matter when everyone will just say they made 8000 Euros. The only people who are going to pay more are government workers and people getting pensions, everyone else will just say they made less. Its just a game.

It appears it is over SPORT PLUS, which DISH has exclusive rights to.
So the lawsuit is about Sport Plus and not the service... Hopefully thats the case.

Look at this weekend. There is a major legislative vote on reducing pensions and taxing and the media is going on a weekend strike. Like this wasn't perfectly timed.

Friday my uncle in Chicago got a letter for DISHNETWORK order them to pay 3000 US for illegally watching their greek DISHNETWORK channels from ELLASTV and to contact their lawyer in California ....how did they get my uncles name ? here in Canada they can't touch us...
did anybody else got this letter in the states ?
I don't get why they would go after your uncle and not the source. Doesn't make sense.

I think its called reality. If you only make $500 a month, then you can't spend more than that. Greece is so far down the drain that nothing can help them. Syriza and Greece are the perfect match.

I saw the video on the news tonight. I can't blame them. The Mohammads and Abduls were trying to rip the fence and charge through but since they have a government and order, they decided to come out with rubber bullets and tear gas and if you got too close, a nice shot to the face. Meanwhile, our comrade was complaining that they shouldn't be using violence on the poor Mohammads.

I am willing to bet that the Mohammads and Abduls at Piraeus will still be there during the summer season because there is no government to do anything about it. They have handed out pamphlets asking them to leave and that "they love them". Yeah like these scum are going to leave. Then we have these "independent" agencies helping these out that are screwing Greece by telling the Mohammads not to leave. In FYROM, they beat the s%$#! out of them and then send them back to the dumpster (Greece). In Greece, we allow them in to piss on us.

Wow. That video is unbelievable. I can't believe there is no police or military. I could never imagine a road being shut down in the US by illegals and the police just letting it go. This is what Greece wanted. They voted for this F***up twice.

Russia is going to attack Turkey, defeat it and then hand over Constantinople to Greece ... as a present. I know people that firmly believe this. It's sad to think that their vote counts as much as mine.

I'm going June-July. Kylini is very close to where I'm going. I thought I would luck out and they would mostly be in Athens and north of there but nope. You spread them around the country, and it will be ugly.

If you want cheap labor, then import a bunch of Chinese people who will work. They come to Europe and their will be a ban on Souvlaki with how spineless Europe is.
