I think it's great for them. They are winning trophies domestically and having a great time. The whole situation just reminds me of those teams like Tre Fiori (San Marino) or B36 Torshavn (Faroe Islands) who almost always win their domestic title before getting knocked out in the first or second qualifying round of the Champions League (sometimes even the Preliminary!). Great, you win the domestic league but are then non-existent in Europe. Anyway, the girls are doing their thing - they shouldn't care about what a grumpy git like me thinks.

I am going to sound miserable but it really doesn't mean much. For as long as I can remember they have been winning the league and losing in the initial rounds of Women's CL. Some of the losses in Europe were quite heavy too.

Personally I don't see why this is a bad thing. If anything it means he will technically do his pre-season with the Surinamese national team.

Not sure what to say. We were supposed to give Pablo a chance, especially after he won the cup. Lucescu was by far our most successful manager but he ditched us the day before pre-season. It's clear that Savvidis is not letting emotions get in the way of running a business.

I think the definite sales this summer have got to be Karol and Tzolis. This will no doubt be an unpopular opinion but I would also cash in on Paschalakis now that he seems to be back in form. We don't need to see him lose it a third time. If we can find a buyer for Douglas then I don't think it would be a bad idea to sell. Happy for El Kaddouri to go, to be honest I think he wants to go back to Italy anyway. Krmencik should be the priority this summer as a replacement for Karol. We also need a winger and a faster central midfielder.

Objectively speaking it wasn't a great game of football. Many chances missed and many misplaced passes. It is still silverware though, hopefully the first of many for Pablo.
