There is no hope for Greek football. Stealing from 15 year olds is just rock bottom. No wonder these OSFP players think they are being treated unfairly if a referee is 50/50. They start them at a young age then by the time they reach the mens team, anything below 80/20 is seen as unfair.

I would like to understand how Lucescu does not see that he is exhausted. His Belgian opponent was literally jogging past him with the ball after just 15 minutes the other night. Slightly worrying to think he could start against Marseille.

If we make it through tonight it will be incredible. Biseswar should hang his head in shame. He was already out of breath after 5 minutes. He keeps falling over and cannot even control the ball. His opponent just jogged past him at one point. The same goes for Murg who cannot control the ball. These are supposed to be professional footballers. Paschalakis cannot kick the ball to save his life. Awful defending for their goal and they will continue to pile on the pressure. The only change I can think of is bringing on Mitrita for Biseswar or Murg.

I didn't know this. It seems there are always two sides to a story.

Whoever renewed El Kaddouri's contract should be shown the door.

I think it was a mistake to renew his contract for 3 years. He was solid in the title-winning season, managed to keep some of that form during the beginning of the next season but then quickly dwindled. I think it shows how immature PAOK is as a club. He took his son to Benfica. We acted as if he took his son to another Greek team. Sure, we helped create the player that his son is but at the end of the day all fathers want the best for their kid. It was the right move for him and our reaction shows how we have a village mentality. Instead of dropping Varela for his poor performance, he was ultimately dropped for sending his son to one of the biggest selling clubs in the world.

At this point I wouldn't be surprised if we offered Varela a 2-year extension.

He raised his hand to the bench a couple of times indicating he wanted to be subbed. It is typical of PAOK for a player to be kept on despite his plea to be taken off, then sub him within ten seconds of getting booked. It is almost like: - "We know if you get booked you are banned from the 2nd leg but we need you to stay on." (10 seconds pass) - "OK he's booked. Bring him off now that he is banned from next week's game."
