Greece plays again on Feb. 7th in a friendly match in Thessaloniki (I think), EPO has not decided which opponent would it be. Who would you like to see Greece face off?

I voted for Portugal for a couple of reasons. Firstly it would be a great game to give Zagorakis a special presentation. Secondly, they will want revenge so it will be a hotly contested game which would be good preperation for the Turkey game a month later. And finally, it may reignite a spark in the players hearts because some seem to have lost their fight.

If not Portugal though I would suggest playing either Germany (who like Turkey play an attacking game from out wide so tactically they are the best preparation).

Last time I heard, EPO had set up a game with Egypt for that date. However that was a while back before Zagorakis retired.

Recently EPO said that they would like to play a Zagorakis farewell game on Feb. 7, but so far none of the teams they wanted (Portugal, Spain, Italy) did not respond, and it is very possible that the zagorakis farewell game at Toumba will now be rescheduled for August 2007.

I want Italy to be my first choice. If not, I would love SVERIGE to be my opponent so I can go to Greece and purchase tickets to see that game LIVE. :tup:

Last time Greece played SVERIGE it was in Solna (Subrub of Stockholm) when Greece come from behind to beat them 2-1. That was back in August of 2003. :gr: :nw: :gr: :nw: :gr:

Additionaly the Brazilian FA has once again approached EPO about a friendly in August, but if they don't back down from the 1.3 million that Brazil is asking EPO, it will probably not happen.
