GS1905
Fenerbahce Chairman Aziz Yildirim decided to leave his post on Thursday... The shock news came in a press release on 14:40 local time. Here are the words by Mr Yildirim. - I fell tired of the campaign against me and I felt it started to hurt Fenerbahce so that's why I'm leaving. - We today talk about signing players like Morientes, Sol Campbell and Roberto Carlos. That's how far we carried Fenerbahce to. - If the 6-foreigners rule was not lifted because of me, they can lift it now because I'm leaving. - I took charge of the club in 1997 and we had a budget of $16M. It's now up to $130M and we can sign any player we wish. That's greatness!!! AZIZE IS HISTORY...
