A great day for Greek players aboard

Yesterday, all teams with Greek players aboard in Europe (expect for Lille they are heading to UEFA cup, which is better than getting eliminated) have qualifyed after the winter break. The way I see this, it's an indication that these players would get even better as they continue to compete in Europe. Bravo to all of the Greek players, even for those who recieve little playing time. :tup: :nw:

Samaras is awesome. If we had played him instead of Vryzas we would have qualfyfied no question. He is the best Greek striker

Exactly, why didn't Otto called him up as early as June?

Anyways, from what I've read in uefa.com, all 3 clubs (Ajax, Benfica, Rangers) from the CL are not facing each other until the quarterfinals, all of them finished 2nd in there groups.

On the Uefa Cup

Bolton finished 3rd, Heerenveen finished 3rd, Roma finished 2nd, and Monaco in 1st.

First place clubs play against third place clubs

while second place clubs play against Champions League clubs

First leg home advantage goes to the 3rd and Champions League clubs
