Broken Hearts?

Recommended Posts

The crisis at Hearts took another turn for the worse yesterday, when their cheif executive Phil Anderton was fired by major shareholder Vladimir Romanov, and the chairman George Foulkes resigned in protest.

Romanov's son Roman takes over the vacant posts on a temporary basis.

Not ideal circumstances for finding a new manager.

Going by current form, this seasons championship race may be a one horse race for Celtic. Rangers have fallen so far behind, with no real sign of improving. Rangers next matches will be crucial - Aberdeen, Celtic twice, Porto, Inter!!

I reckon Rangers will have a new manager in the next few weeks, which may kick start a comeback of sorts, but next season it will no doubt be back to the same old stuff: Rangers & Celtic boredom!! Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

A big THANK YOU to Hearts for the hope they gave the rest of Scottish football for a couple of months. It's been far too long since we had consistant challenges to the Old Firm. The days when the New Firm, Aberdeen and Dundee United, were the top sides is a very distant memory.
