I agree w/ pao123. I don't see anything on that list (or anything else for that matter), that would even come close to us stunning everyone and winning the Euro 2004 :tup: :gr: . Even though it's along the same lines, the only other thing that seems to come close to the Ethiniki success would be Porto winning the CL (and Monaco being in the final as well) :blink:.

this is an easy poll

it should be euro 2004

i mean Greece came out of nowhere

PPl only expected them to just dress to the tournament and thats about it

our country had no internatinal pedigree to fall back on

now we do and we will all never forget it

i mean Greeks can now be proud of their country's soccer

Without a doubt winning the euro is by far the even of the year!!! :gr: :gr:

i think the event of the year is that national team of Jordan reached the quarter-finals in the Asian Cup in its first participation without losing in the group stage and lost to Japan on penalties in the quarter-finals after changing the goalposts while the teams have already hit 3 penalties each!!
