JOHNNY Posted October 20, 2004 Share Posted October 20, 2004 New Newcastle boss Graeme Souness and striker Craig Bellamy are reported to have had a major bust up following Bellamy's outburst at being substituted during the weekend's draw at Charlton. I'll leave you to work out the blanks, but Bellamy clearly mouthed f*****g p***k as he left the field. The reason behind Bellamy's exclusion from the squad for Newcastle's game away to Arsenal was shrouded in mistery. Souness claimed the player was feigning injury as he has been playing out of position and Bellamy responded by calling Souness a liar in interviews on Sky TV. This has led to the chairman Freddy Shephard publicly criticising Bellamy, claiming he had let down the club and its fans.
