tihio10 Posted August 11, 2004 Share Posted August 11, 2004 Today I heard a rumor that next year we will see only one Greek club (the Greek champ) qualify automatically to the CL, and one will be in the third round trying to qualify for the finals. Montreal_Thrillos Posted August 12, 2004 Share Posted August 12, 2004 i think it is because based on a perfomance of a countrys teams in the C.L 2 years later they are granted more teams or less teams into the C.L reason being is that in 2003-2004 hellas sent 3 teams to the C.L and in the group stages combines all 3 teams won 2 out of 18 games. I think it works the same for uefa/. if they had won more games and gone further. maybe a 4th team would have been granted but i could be wrong Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
