gavalas
Paidia, I have been able to use the TARBS equipment to catch ERT SAT on OPTUS B3. Below is a link which goes into full detail as it's a bit long to explain here. Watch ERT Sat using TARBS Equipment The bearings are for Perth, however if you go here you can get your own location bearings. Hope this helps us watch some soccer in the next few months :D
Ziaka
gavalas, thanks for the info. I am sure our Australian members appreciate this. As for seeing soccer on ERT-Sat, we will have to wait and see.
gavalas
Guys, I have had quite a few emails regarding people wanting their own cities' locations. I'll update Sydney and Melbourne soon, however the easiest way is look up yourn own suburbs' longitude, latitude by asking google. Then go to http://www.sfwx.com/softworks/geoBearing.html Enter the south value as negative East value Satellite point (optus b3) is 152 Good luck! P.S. Melbourne would be: 11 deg North and inclination (elevation) angle 45 Sydney would be: 2 deg North and inclination (elevation) angle
gavalas
Guys, If you are in the Australian region, Antenna Pacific is also currently free to air and can be viewed with existing KU or tarbs equipment. Again I have added instructions on my free greek satellite tv page page so take a look if you like.
