Karamurat
What you guys think about Hanefi and Selcuk? Will they keep a regular place at the starting 11? Hanefi will definately be a regular.....he has so much talent!I feel bad for Kemal and Selcuk because one of them has to sit on the bench...and they are too good to be benchplayers....but its good to know that we have good backup on the bench too.... ;)

Karamurat
Fenerbahce - Gaziantespor 3-1 The game was very intense and probably one of the most exctiting games in a long time.... 12 yellow cards...7 to FB and 6 to G.A. Tuncay got two red cards within a couple of minutes.... The ref was the worst ever....at one stage he left the pitch due to hostile atmosphere created by Fenerbahce fans....then they came back. At the beginning of the 2nd half G.A. scored the first goal of the game...just before that Kemal had been fouled but the ref waived on which led to the goal. In 70th minute van Hooijdonk scored one of the most amazing freekicks i have ever seen....Tuncay scored the second and Yusuf the third! Good win...but we could be punished with a match ban once again... :(

Fenerlondra
This match was always destined to be a biggie. It was scheduled a week before the derby, Fener were on an upward trend, a lot of hoo-haa surrounded the location of the match, and Gaziantep have always been difficult opponents for us. However, the game became doubly important after GS's unexpected slip up at Konya, the very same fixture we lost playing 10 men for 90+ mins the previous year and never heard the last of!! Goes to show that the age old proverb of, "don't laugh at your neighbour.." has never been so true.. Fener started the game off fast enough but slowed down after 25 minutes. Our only chance of the half came on 23 when Serhat's cheeky chip was well anticipated by Omer Barthez. From minute 26 onwards Gaziantep setlled in and had 3 very good opportunities to take the lead, in fact it was amazing that the half time scoreline was still 0-0. The fans made a great spectacle at the start of the second half and this must have helped Daum's half time talk further. By the 47th minute though, Antep took the lead. Contraversial in the lead up it may have been, but the execution of the diving header was spot on. Things got a little out of hand by the 50th minute after PVH's fall was deemed a dive and the great man was booked for his troubles. Sure, Omer Barthez did his very best to provoke the scene, but surely our fans should have risen above the bate. Surely, they were smart enough to see beyond what he was doing... Obviously not!! Once again, the handful minority ruined it for the 50,000 majority, or moreover 25,000,000 majority!! It's high time these guys were banned from the ground, we simply cannot afford this excess baggage any longer as they do more harm then good!? Minutes 75-90 were a dream and a true dose of what Fener are about this season. Switch off, and they will punish you... We started off at the foot of the table after the first match and was once again subjected to jibes from certain rivals. 4 games later and we are sitting pretty third in the league having played some very tricky fixtures... Roll on the next game..
