Ziaka
Here are the current standings and games remaining: 1. Ukraine 9 - 7 2 0 - 15:3 - 23 2. Turkey 9 - 4 4 1 - 19:7 - 16 4. Greece 9 - 4 3 2 - 12:7 - 15 4. Denmark 8 - 3 3 2 - 13:8 - 12 5. Albania 9 - 3 0 6 - 7:16 - 9 6. Georgia 7 - 1 2 4 - 10:63 - 5 7. Kazakhstan 7 - 0 0 7 - 2:21 - 0 Round 11 (03-SEP-2005) Albania - Kazakhstan Turkey - Denmark Georgia - Ukraine Round 12 (07-SEP-2005) Kazakhstan -GREECE Denmark - Georgia Ukraine - Turkey Round 13 (08-OCT-2005) Denmark -GREECE Georgia - Kazakhstan Ukraine - Albania Round 14 (12-OCT-2005) Kazakhstan - Denmark Albania - Turkey GREECE - Georgia For Greece to get the 2nd spot that leads to play-off games, we need to win the rest of our games in my opinion. The next set of games take place on September 3rd, and the game that we will be watching is Turkey - Denmark. A tie in this game would be a good result for us. Turkey then goes to play in Ukraine, while we should be easily defeating Kazakhstan. Hopefully Turkey can drop more pints in Kiev. The hardest game for our NT will be in Copenhagen on October 8 against Denmark. We need to win this game.
PAOK_001
wont it be such a dissapointment if Greece don't qualify for the WC, champions of Europe and porbably the best team Greece will ever have the players of the team right now have had an excellent chance to quallify, now it is a lot harder but hopefully we will make it. billydagreek
i would be a shame if we dont make it , even though i believe if we can get a couple wins and a draw or win vs denmark we can still get in....if we beat denmark and win the games were supposed we should be good, i dont see turkey getting a point vs denmark........but lets remember we will probably end up with 6 0r even 7 wins, break the 20s with points.....and finish top three if not top two...my point is who would think we would do this good about two years ago...before the euro success.......... Guest GreekSoussou
Tureky 2-2 Denmark Now by winning out Greece will qualify. If Turkey and Ukraine tie, then two wins and a draw gets it done. :gr:
Grigoris
Tureky 2-2 Denmark Now by winning out Greece will qualify. If Turkey and Ukraine tie, then two wins and a draw gets it done. Also, in the unlikely event that Georgia ties or beats Denmark, then two wins gets it done. Unlikely, but you never know.

Panathinaikos_Trifilli
There were 2 moments these last 5 days which saved greek asses. 1) last minute goal for denmark making it 2-2 2) last minute goal for greece making it 2-1 These last-gasp goals worked well for the greeks, total luck but maybe the greek-god is tryin to tell us something. Korisos
even if turkey beat albania and we get 4 of 6 points in the last 2 games to be tied w/ turkey, we can still get 2nd if we win by about 10 goals vs. georgia since turkey has a much larger goal difference than we do otto cannot play for the draw in denmark, reality is we must win both cos we won't beat geaorgia by 10 goals.
