REY Posted May 9, 2008 Share Posted May 9, 2008 This year's top scorer of Club Brugge Sterchele (26) died yesterday morning, after his car hit a tree aside of the road. Genome Posted May 9, 2008 Share Posted May 9, 2008 Yes, played for Germinal Beerschot and the Rode duivels (Red devils, Belgian National team) as well ... a great guy according to the Club Brugge staff and players. Apparently he was speeding, they showed images of his car today on the news here in Belgium ... there was barely anything left of that car. He died at the age of 26. May he rest in peace.
