REY Posted April 20, 2008 Share Posted April 20, 2008 OK, to post before the OFI match: In this match, Vikelidis is expected to be pretty full (at least 16.000 will attend the match, since our fans want to celebrate the good course overall this season in all competitions and especially to thank the players and staff for our qualification into the Cup final.) I also wanted to do myself, but somehow I decided to finish the season (before the play offs) updating the "Aris FC" topic with recent matches like the last Atromitos match plus this one. 0:0 half time. REY Posted April 21, 2008 Author Share Posted April 21, 2008 Duško Bajević, in the post-match conference, answered a couple of questions saying that this was one of the most beautiful home games of Aris this season, which was logical since 2 teams entered pressureless. Also commenting on the question how Aris' chances for the 1st place in the play offs are, said that it would be very difficult, and he would check how Aris' situation looks like very soon, but also stressing that these play offs games will be important for other stuffs regarding his team... Also short points relating this match: 1. Koke scored his 8th goal of the league 2. Javito made a great appearance 3. Koltsidas got in the match on 88' substituting Felipe and also receiving ovations from the stands due to his more-than-10-years service in our yellow vest 4. OFI have had some administrative problems. That's one of the factors why OFI came to Thessaloniki without several players 5. Fans were always chanting about conquering the Cup 6. Chalkias entered the pitch first to begin his pre-match warm-up session raising his hand to salute the fans 7.
