A tie hurts Turkey in the standings as much as a loss and now Bosnia is a real threat. Including Norway 4 teams are still in it. Greece is playing very well today with the exception of the early defensive mistake. Fortunately the Keeper made a great save. He should be the starter from now on. Maybe all the home games should be played in Crete. I was expecting a better Hungary team however Greece have been the better team by far. The game really should be 4-1 for Greece right now. warzycha Posted June 2, 2007 Share Posted June 2, 2007 Turkey have just been screwed by Bosnia 3-2. The Greece v Turkey game should never have been played on March 24. Not making excuses for the perfomance but it was one of those nights. It was always going to be too emotional. Team to watch though is Norway both Greece and Turkey still have to travel there. loup Posted June 2, 2007 Share Posted June 2, 2007 Remeber when the group was drawn - people thought Bosnia would roll over for their bros from Turkey With 3 minutes to go it looks like : Ellas 15 Turkey 13 Bosnia-Herzegovina 10 Norway 10 All these teams are done their first run through We have the worst schedule remaining with Turkey and Norway on the road As long as we don't stumble against the lesser teams I think we are assured to go through Great 1st half today 2nd half was OK - but looked lik everyone had accepted we would win Giorkas is the man of the match Kyrgiakos was AWESOME too Gekas played very well Chalkias was solid this was Kara's best game in a while Only anatolkis shjould be replace vs Malta SUPERB GAME :gr: :gr: :gr: :gr: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
