I'm really surprised the Irish goalkeeper didn't pull Mantolas down there. What an awful mistake.

2 0!!!

Ireland nearly scored. This is a lot tenser than it should have been.

Should have left Baksetas on imo.

A wake up call from Ireland there, we need to put this game to bed.

Baksetas with a smart attempt on goal from the free kick just wide though.

Ireland starting to leave big gaps in defense I can see us scoring again soon.

At last, hopefully the flood gates open now.

Goal!!!

Watching the first half highlights Ireland have only had 1 chance.

Only 4 shots on target, not good enough.

Hopefully we don't do another Costa Rica or Georgia! Total domination and then lose.

We've had 80% possession!

It's like a shooting galley in the Irish goal mouth, surely only a matter of time.

We came close to scoring but it was deflected wide by an Irish defender. Tziolis then just had a chance on the volley but it was more a conversion than a shot on goal.

Ireland nearly scored after a dodgy deflection off one of our defenders, but they put it wide when it would've been easier to get it on target.

The stadium looks packed, that's good to see.

I'm not sure if this link will work outside the UK but just in case: https://www.youtube.com/live/xeW2uR-5gKU?si=YqA5N3s_mVHKtHQ1

I don't think there's any debate we outplayed England. The English commentators, players and manager admitted it. https://youtu.be/RckqRE0FMK8?si=NX6Hu4JqQ_WspWAI

That was one of Greece's best attacking performances in quite a long time. We showed true grit to keep playing despite all the setbacks of disallowed goals, goal that looked to have crossed the line, dodgy decisions and biased refereeing. Glad the players were able to do it for Baldock and the nation.

2-1

Greece with far too many subs, it ruins team cohesion.

Lovely goal, like the way he took on and scored passed a load of overrated England players.

I think we need to do some training on how to clear the ball! So sick of the back passing to Vlachadimas!

The ref is very clearly favouring England.
