I agree, Manolo’s comments at times are embarrassing and the way he carries on. That has improved somewhat since his suspension.
Lets see how the act next week in the big one
-
I don't know what he did the footage shows Kostantinidis carrying on and trying to attack him, surely PAOK needs to understand acting like acting like animals is not doing the club any good

I'm not sold on having taxi as a starter. As far as Samaris goes I haven't seen the guy ever perform well for us. Maybe a game or two but realistically he has disappointed way more then he has impressed.
I think we need to move on from them two. They will always be around but we need to try new combos with Zeca. We didn’t faulter with Samaris-Tachtsidis for no reason

Skibbe promises changes and these are some of the players he will have his eye on especially for the friendlies.. If this is true its a positive sign.
That’s actually a great piece but dunno if the journo or Skibbe have an eye of those players, what I know is we need to start getting most of those guys into the team and leave out the “regular” dud call ups that’s been manditory on this team for... ever

You got to be kidding me

Really? You guys went and attacked their players and you call AEK that? Come one Yiankos, bit out of whack there.
Manolo's comments were ridiculous and embarrassing but your bit off the mark with that comment as your officials didn't do that
-
By abroad Greeks you mean Dean?
-
With the PAOK lose and OSFP point this is a very important win for AEK court cases pending too
-
Very ugly scenes after the game, why did your guys go after the Asteras guys like that? Horrible way to end a very good match of football
-
The guy has a clear biase for his childhood team and should be officiating in the Football League or G Ethniki

OFI forward, Dimitris Manos has now scored 14 goals in 13 matches, he is 23, see where he finds himself next season

Massive game for AEK tonight. Only a win will do, really hope the team can do it

Aretopoulos is as much to blame as anyone for this situation and not only embarrassing Greek football but taking it back many years.
He is now saying Garcia was not fit enough to sit on OSFP bench and also saying OSFP got the paper work done on time...
Just shows the lack of professionalism and process in Greece which, given the occasion and level we are talking about, is pretty scary how stupid and incompetent things are there.

We will see in a week or so... please No Tziolis!! And if he is picked, Fetfa should at least get a look in

I would think a replay at a neutral venue would be the best outcome and ironically would still be a positive for Olympiacos since they would avoid the ZOUGLA that so scares them. What a bunch of pussies ha ha.
Not a bad suggestion but highly unlikely, it would however provide a very clear resolution to so much an ill-defined situation

Yes, in the match report most of this is written. However, no clear mention if whether or not Garcia is able to play. Only that the doctor of the match reported his status to Aretopoulos. Aretopoulos avoids to write down what exactly the doctor told him. However, it is written in the match report that Garcia is not feeling well and Olympiakos is therefore leaving.
Many thanks file. Surely Aretopoulos is needs a decent talking to over the handling of this and the lack of black and white detail from his side, given the magnitude of what has happened his reports seem very gray

He was examined by the official doctor after the 15 minutes that they were locked in the locker room. After his examination he informed Aretopoulos that his injury does not prevent him from calling the game. Aretopoulos apparently wrote this initially in the match report, but changed it later.
WOW... Thanks for the info Blackhawk
This is massive... I'm stunned.
@Klaous you have this don't you, does Aretopoulos write this?
-
You just want to bang your head against a wall hey... He should have asked what were you guys doing for 15 mins, it would have been some ridiculous answer , cringe worthy I bet but def worth asking to see what vlakia comes back.
PAOK called in a coroner, now if this guys makes a reasonable case something could come of this, I still don't find the justification at a cut lip could lead to all this... PAOK arrested the idiot that's started all this, the injury is not that bad, I don't think it needed hospitalization that's for sure but now dodgy reff, Areopoulos has changed his report which just makes things more gray.
What I'm not 100% is the doctor case... was Garcia observed by the "official doctor"? The PAOK guy, be that may be , he was the official doc thanks to EPO.

Well put Argy, I agree with most of that actually my only edits to you are these
Irreplaceable Core: I add Christodoulopoulos in there for the next year or two. His form is just too hot.
I have mixed feelings about Tachtsidis... I like him as a player but I dunno if his lack of mobility helps as much as his great passing...
I really think Pelkas is prime to replace Fortounis, he really needs to be given a shot.
I would love to see Galanopoulos, Lykogiannis, Kourbelis and Androutsos given a go, but a decent shot, not 10 mins.
Players out: I 110% agree.
Love the Dark horses list, I think Bakakis should replace Torosidis pretty soon and should get a shot in the friendlies coming. Dont mind Masouras. Would love to see Limnios and Fetfa back in, Greece can play with some good wingers, it would transform our game.

The mistake does not matter haha. Good one. Our "mistake" does not matter too then. Welcome to Elladistan.
It is clear that Aretopoulos was sleeping on that evening. However, the law is clear, officials only. You can punish Aretopoulos too for not proceeding UEFA regularities. Regardless, Garcia was not an Olympiakos official that night.
Unless you get an independent non Greek court this is not really hold much ground, Aretopoulos is saving his bacon and saying the match sheet was fine or the change was on time - this makes this whole issue void to the judge

If it become a he-said, he-said issue...who are they going to trust? A PAOK-employed doctor or the FIFA-certified referee?
Isn't this on EPO? I though the official doctor who was approved by EPO was in fact a PAOK employed doc so something along those lines.

@Argy who do you think can replace Lazaros at right wing?
