  1. This qualifying campaign is a marathon not a sprint. 10 games. Although the game in Bosnia is important it doesn’t make or break the campaign. They need to take it one game at a time. Don’t overlook anyone. Remember Estonia and Finland and Faroe for that matter. Do not look forward. Concentrate on the task at hand.
  2. The best cure for a team that can’t score is to play against a weak defence. The best cure for a team with a weak defence is to play a team with an anemic attack. Both got their wishes. It’s not like we’ve scored a lot against Bosnia either. Or anyone for that matter.
  3. I’m Greek also file. But excuses are lame. Especially the injury excuse. And the players you mentioned? Lazaros? 1 goal in 117 games! Lmao. Pelkas? Hasn’t had a sniff. Papadopoulos? Lmao. He turns a doorknob and is injured for a year. He hasn’t been relevant since he was 20. Excuses are lame. Especially when you’re making them before the game.
  4. The guy in this article is very optimistic. 6 points in the first two games? I hope so, but let’s try scoring a goal first.
  5. I heard Yaya banana might get a call up.
  6. Did anyone see Gianniotas post about him doing his time in the army. What’s he gonna do fight off enemies with his towel? Lol
  7. Holebas used the national team for exposure. He knew he wouldn’t get a sniff from Uruguay or Germany.
  8. If you spend 200 bucks in the Greek league you’re considered a big spender.
  9. Put in Siovas instead of glass man who’s always hurt. Isn’t him with that.
  10. Sokratis is getting torched but the Liverpool front line. Wow
  11. Donis a Ferrari? Lmaooo. What does that make Messi then.
  12. I’m not talking about training at all. You guys are misunderstanding my point. What I’m saying is athletes have short careers. Your goal is to make as much money as you can in that short time you are able to compete. In the end, it’s a job. You can ride the bench in the English championship and still make way more money than playing in the Greek league. Anyway, in the end it’s about money, just like we go to work to make money so do they. Most would rather make the money Samaris is making on Benfica for barely doing anything than play in the Greek league for a quarter of the money and have these butchers try and blow your knee out every week.
  13. I agree. However, most of these guys no nothing else but soccer. they Have 10 15 years at most to make all their money before they’re done. Unlike us who have to work 40 or 50 years. If they can prolong their careers by riding the bench for extra bucks they will. If you were a carpenter making 25 bucks an hour working 15 hour days and you had a chance to go to another company making 75 bucks an hour working 8 hour days you’d choose the latter. Everyone would. It would prolong your body. Working less and making more.
  14. I don’t blame any of the players. This is how they support their families. I’d rather make half a million to ride the bench than 75 grand to play. Anyone would. It’s a job.
  15. I wouldn’t say much more success but I see your point. They haven’t won anything. But I’d be happy qualifying for every tournament to start. Winning is just a bonus. Let’s see where this campaign goes. I get it. Everyone has teams they can’t stand. Yours is England, mine is Italy.
  16. They can’t even compete with teams like Vidi and Bate never mind those leagues.
  17. I couldn’t agree more! Not a fan of foreigners on the team.
  18. Wow!!! Really? That’s awesome. He’s our saviour. Lol
  19. If they don’t win the first game by at least 2 0, then forget it. They won’t score against anyone.
  20. Both games will be 0 0. There. I spoiled it for you
  21. Italy vs Greece. if you have trouble sleeping. These 2 games should do the trick.
  22. There’s always a first. I won’t get my hopes up, but there’s always a first time for everything.
  23. People in Greece don’t have that much money as it is. Why spend it on a s%$#! product. The leafs are a club team not a national team. Toronto is one of the richest cities in the world. People have money to go to the games here. It’s the I’m thing to do.
  24. No. There’s a salary cap in hockey. If there wasn’t then yes.
