According to various Greek sport news channels Tzolis is fit to play vs Sweden..

I really hope JVS is out even if Greece manage to scrape out a win vs Sweden. In that case we would still have somewhat of chance at qualification but JVS would need to go and bring in a coach who can talk to the players he has excluded from the team and bring them back for the October qualifiers.

Your right Dean he panics and goes against his perfered style in the qualifiers. Against Kosovo he should have gone after them with a 4-3-3 formation and play nice one touch passing and open up Kosovo. Instead Greece were hitting long balls aimlessly up the pitch and it suited Kosovo just fine. Also when we got up a goal we would keep the clean sheet or the lead. I cant remember in any qualifier were we allowed a goal late on or in stoppage time but thats what you get when you got all your defenders scrambling around and cant deal with a cross into the box. I doubt we would have seen a goal go in there with Manolas or Siovas in the lineup. His banning of those guys bit him right in the ARSE!

Heard it. JVS is calling the shots not EPO. Your right Skibbe for all his faults at least got the team to the world cup playoff.

Greece couldn’t string more than a couple passes together and every time we got the ball we would just smash it up field aimlessly. Just disgusting to watch that garbage. Plus we only had 4 shot attempts 2 on target and Kosovo had 59% possession? JVS once again in important match comes up short he did the same vs Slovenia and that cost us a NL top spot and possible playoff spot. Also when Fortounis is fit he wouldn’t utilize him and would talk about his lack of playing time at OLY meanwhile he calls up players without a club. Time for him to resign or let go!

Guys I was listening to the Gate 7 podcast, they too were dismayed with our performance and JVS tactics and subs. One of the shows contributers from Greece said he spoke to someone who has inside knowledge of the workings of the NT and he said that all these moves JVS makes are HIS and his alone! SO he has chosen to entrust Bakasetas with our World Cup aspirations? Also he touched on the fact that JVS did not want to reach out to Manolas and Sokratis because he cant deal with even the smallest amount of "disent" within the team. This guy needs to GET the F*** out of our ETHNIKI! And EPO is paying JVS around 1.5 per year? For what! Ante Geia!!

I have a feelng we will play much better and maybe squeeze out a win vs Sweden. Afterall Greece always shows up vs the bigger footballing nations. I just think in the end will end up missing out by blowing this last game and the one vs Georgia.

Well said.. In friendlies JVS plays the style that he did when got the job and when we have friendlies. As bad as Greece played today we had the lead and we should be able to see the game out. I thought we could contend for 2nd place in this group but this guy has sabatoged our campaign early on, add to that he couldnt win the NL group so there goes a back up possibility at a playoff spot. IM SO PISSED!!! I want him OUT!

JVS step down immediately or EPO has to fire his arse! Find a coach who can work with our players and who acts maturely and professionally and bring back Manolas Sokratis and Siovas back into the fold. Time to drop Bakasetas from the starting eleven I dont mind him on the squad as a bench player but he has not given us much in all these games JVS has played him.

I like Vlachodimos but he cost us on that goal too. Tsimikas was off today I couldnt believe how we couldnt complete a 2 foot pass over and over again. Anyways in the Santos days we finish off this game and get the win 1 nil or more guaranteed!

Disgusting performance! We should have held on though it was a ridicoulos goal to conceed! JVS what happened to his 4-3-3 attack and high pressing? We could barely create anything in attack today and we sat back vs this mediocore side. JVS should be FIRED TODAY!
