I don't think the final has officially been postponed, apparently the announcement was going to be last night but both clubs and EPO intervened, as they want it played this Saturday. Although its looking likely it will be postponed an announcement is expected in the next few hours.
Apparently the issue is on the tickets that have been printed there are no seat numbers. According to the "rules" there needs to be an allocated row and seat number. One of the solutions I have heard is as people enter they are given a number and that is their seat. I don't know how feasible that is, or any other solution with the game under 36 hours away.... There should be official word soon though

Thinking about Araujo and how to deal with him... Crespo is the quickest of our centre backs, but then who starts with him. Varela and Maleza both lack pace, Varela has been the starter for most of this season and I think he's a good player but he seems more prone to brain fades and making stupid mistakes than malezas. In saying that malezas played in the 3-0 loss and got himself sent off due to a brain fade. I think Varela will start but I think it's something Ivic might think about when it comes to selecting the team.
For me Canas must start. As blackhawk said no need to go all out in this game. I also lean towards Cimirot over shakhov even though the latter has been in good form. AEK are a quick and nimble team. Cimirot is better suited to that sort of game. I would start Bisewar as the dekari
Who starts on the wings is interesting. Henrique is no doubt the most talented but lacks defensive discipline. Djalma has been awful lately but works hard defensively. You also have Warda and pelkas. I would personally start Henrique on one wing but I would spend this whole week smashing it into him how important it is to track defensively... Who knows if he will though. As to who starts on the other wing I think you toss a coin between Warda and Pelka, although I'm leaning towards Pelkas for some reason -
Bravo sto paidi! Wonder what next season holds for him, you'd think another loan move from juve, hopefully somewhere where he gets some regular mins and we can see what he's really made of

we are being linked with Benoit Costil, French goalkeeper from Rennes. He is a free agent in the summer and apparently we are offering a 3 year deal worth 2.5 million. He was in the French squad for the euros last year

nearly 24 hours since the announcement of the venue for the final and is it stands its still in volo.
If they do wanna move this surely it would have to be by the end of the weekend. Then again it is Greece.

WHAT A RESULT!! Huge! I had a to do a triple take when I checked the score in the morning! Will watch the game later i have it recorded but based on the highlights i've seen everyone has hit the nail on the head. Pao really should have finished the game in the first half but they didn't and we took advantage. Defs not a second yellow to Hult, the same soft call that got the ethniki in belgium.
On to the final, we can't let too much emotion take control. We remember 2014, we won an emotionally charged semi and got spanked in the final. Today was a different kind of semi but still. Glad the lads enjoyed the win but we need to focus up, we have gotten the invite to the big dance, now we need to walk up to the hot girl and dance with her xD
But seriously AEK is no easy beat, they have given us trouble in both games this season, and they are a different beast with Arajuo leading the line. It's winnable but it's gonna be tough.

Dortmund beat Bayern 3-2 in the German cup semi (in Munich) and make the final! Huge win for them. Sokratis played the full 90, they will play Frankfurt in the final on May 28th

I can't see us qualifying. Well let me rephrase that, I can't see us keeping a clean sheet, so that would require us scoring 4 to go through which i just dont see happening. Berg has been a pain in our ass for years, he will find space as we will be chasing goals combine that with the pace of Klonaridis and Mpokou, I just can't see them not grabbing at least one goal.
I hope I'm wrong and I hope we win 3-0 but my money is on a 2-1 win on the night-

Let him be pissed he is a mediocre coach who has been a journey man of greek football coaching. I don't think his platanias team of 2017 really give a spanakopita about what PAOK did to him 10 years ago.

I wouldn't worry about his hatred, his record against us, at least in the last 2-3 seasons has been awful

Although I like that pic, the kid needs to stop posting on social media. He's like a little kid who reacts to everything that is said about the club not an official or the son of the president, whatever he is I expect better from someone who is so close to the club. Arguing with fans, subtle shots at tzavella etc, just stop!
I don't know the guy but he just seems like a spoilt rich kid or says whatever he wants because daddy will run around and clean the mess he has made. Just not a very good look is all im saying. But hey this is Greece, where irrelevant people seem to have the biggest opinions!-

I didn't see anyone offside blackhawk? berg is onside when the initial shot is deflected into his path, and Leto looks to be behind the ball when Berg cuts it back to him, unless I didn't see it properly

As i type that a handball by pao in the box, debatable whether that one was. I think Crespo's was more of a penalty, but thats just my opinion -
they are all over us, we can;t get out of a half. It feels like its only a matter of time till they pop in another...

Just gave a way a penalty in the 15th minute against Monaco. Didn't look like a penalty to me, very minimal contact, if anything the majority of the contact was made outside the box.
Justice is served (imo) as Monaco miss the penalty, 19th minute still 0-0 -
Honestly happy to get to the half only 1 down.
Djalma needs to be subbed, I don't care for who but he needs to go.
Kolouris too, in a physical game where we are struggling to keep the ball in our half we need someone who can hold up the ball. Kolouri is just being brushed aside. Don't know how ready Prijovic is but this game is screaming out for him-

god djalma is killing every attack, taking too long on the ball and rather than playing a 1-2 he is trying to hold it up and turn when its just not on. He really needs to lift he has had an awful first 30 mins
