It's so annoying when players do well, then come to PAOK, play like s%$#!, then leave and are suddenly rock stars again. Even Lucas...he was promising when he came here. His first season with us, he showed glimmers of greatness but was overall mediocre. Then he goes to Spain and starts swinging a big dick around....where was that s%$#! when we needed it? Then he says he's pissed his team had to pay PAOK 1.5M to buy him....If you're so mad, you should have honored your contract and went there for free you cun+...Necid came to PAOK for a nice climate to rehab his injuries....Get back into the game and is swinging his junk around Turkey now.

Maduro is turning heads in the Netherlands, playing great, and being called one of the best transfers of the year....a reporter said he's going to revitalize his career. When there isn't any Bougatsa and Gyro in the way, he excels.

The gyro was the real deal. I took Tu to the face on the drive home.

I haven't gone yet, but I'm hearing from multiple sources that its the best gyro around. Better than all the other usual suspects.

I didn;t see the whole match. From the highlights, the game could have easily ended up 2-2. I can't really comment on how the team performed. I'm hearing Pelkas is in a serious slump. I heard Fortouni had his way with our entire midfield. Oly is clearly class above talent wise, so a draw would have been A-OK in my book.

I agree....we were having a hard time keeping possession, or making anything happen....but from watching other matches, that's exactly how I would have expected them to score, especially against this team. I expected them to struggle and be under pressure the whole time, and hope for Mak to outrun a guy for a goal. There's no doubt about it, Dortmund is obviously a better team. Even with their 4 starters left behind. There's no comparison. The only thing you can hope for in these matches is that your defense does it's job (Which ours did) and that you can get a lucky break on offense (Which we did) .... I still feel like we left 2 point behind. I don't anyone here is trying to compare the quality of PAOK vs. Dortmund, who is in second place in Bundesliga.

How was it unexpected? It was similar to about 3-4 other goals this season, and similar to 6-7 chances (that didn't end up in goals). If I recall, it was a pass from Vitor to Konstandinis, who then passes in to Tziolis who saw Mak make his move and made the pass. This is something they clearly work on. We deifinitely had our hands full, and couldn't keep possession of the ball. After the goal, though, we did a better job....as good a job as one anyone expected. Our defense did a great job of breaking up some potentially bad situations. Tzabellas did great, Costa is starting to shape up. Any time you go against a team like Dortmund, a draw is favorable, but I really believe we should have won this game. Olsen is absolute trash.

Is Olsen the only Swede who plays goalie? Do they not watch his games? I can't imagine he holds on to his starting position for much longer at PAOK.

PAOKaraG4, you're right....the whole time it felt like a goal was coming, but then once we scored, we got more possession, and a nice try by Berba.....

Pelka in for Sabo at halftime and then Klaus in for Berba at hte 60 would be my next moves...
