  1. Tsimikas should've started. He's been in great form for champions league olympiakos

also, we didn't start our 4 best attacking third palyers Donis, Mitroglou, Fetfatzidis, Fortounis (Injury).

              Mitroglou

    Donis Fortounis Fetfa

         Kourbelis Zeca

    Tsimikas Manolas Sokratis Torosidis

              Vlachodimos

I what I would've done.  Since Fortounis was injured I'd just slot Vrousai or Pelkas in there as the CAM. Mitroglou can make something out of nothing as he's shown at PSV 2 goals playing on 15 minutes + target man / strength.

pelkas I think is decent when playing central but I think he was put out wide again.

There is this middle eastern chick that's a hottie, long legs, but it is evident that she has some facial hair in the moustache region. How do I offer friendly advise although, not offend I wonder..I hate seeing her not fulfill her true potential.

My suggested call up would be to get inspiration from the only person that can squeeze out a solution like no other, plays the big moments like Salpingitis or Gekas used to and score pressure goals in their heyday...you know who I'm talking about Rockafella baby!!

just be honest. she might initially be offended but because you were honest it will also build trust. double edged sword though if she's a dumby might just choose to be offended. high risk high reward, baby!

Samaris, and Tzioli$ are plodders, looking for the coins they dropped on the pitch. Not going to break a game open or save a situation. Siopis and Zeca play like someone is trying to steal their girlfriends and are right in the thick of the action. I prefer the latter two. Actually, I prefer a Latte!

working like someone is trying to steal their girlfriends lmao that's a quote and a half

I disagree for me this took balls by Socrates and Monolas to finally stand up and say something, they don’t have to play for the team they could be enjoying there holidays but they choose to be with the team and if they didn’t care they would keep there mouth shut but instead the want to succeed and it truly hurts them so they take charge and walk into the EPO office and demand change for the better of the team.. Yes Maybe there should be certain things not said in public but Socrates and Monolas said “Many many players came up to them and expressed there concern” so for me I give them credit for giving a s%$#! and demanding change for the better of the team.. This team has only won 14 out of 46 games in the last 5 years since the 2014 World Cup so I’m glad Socrates and Monolas have decided to step up and say something as these number are truly disgusting...

Good point that they probably do care but they're going about it the completely wrong way in my opinion. I'm sure Zikos and Georgatos cared too but their attitude wasn't good for the locker room

I agree, not the first time Papastathopoulos has made statements like this, not the right message for young players and from our leader.

Anastasiadis has every right to say, if you think we have no hope you shouldn’t be part of this. On his side, coach needs to look at some of these call ups and if we have premadonas in the squad that’s a bigger issue. I’m personally starting to question the motivation of Socrates, Manolas & Toro... why did Toro have a bif with Angelo? Or visa versa... our experienced guys seem to be crying and playing the worst (exc Fortounis) - think about it

yeah seems they have heavy ego. They're like we play in top clubs in Europe, who's this little super league coach think he knows better than me. Not realizing that a lot of the reason why they're great players is because they are part of great clubs. The great clubs of Arsenal and Roma are able to mask the ego.

This is different to our top class players before. They were more humble and did whatever needed to be done for the NT and never gave up. IE Salpingidis, Karagounis, Zagorakis. Hard working and humble players.

Sokratis is a sore loser. Not captain material at all. Actually the only player who I think mentally is strong and a good example is Zeca. In all honesty Zeca should probably be captain. Sad. A non-Greek but he plays harder and hustles harder then any other Greek I can think of in the 11. The other ones waste precious energy getting frustrated. Zeca puts his head down and WORKS.

We only have to beat Finland twice guys and we're back in it. It's not the hugest mountain to climb. (As well as win our other games and the Italy game can probably be lost/drawn.

This is probably why Otto kicked out Zikos and Georgatos even though they were clearly part of the best 11 talent wise. Their mentality was cancer.

A hard working player like Zeca increases the team exponentially. Maybe we should even play with our under 21s. Bring in Chatzigiovannis, Bouzoukis etc.

I never thought I'd say that but yeah I finally see these guys are prima donnas.

    maybe something like this

               Koulouris

    Donis Bouzoukis Chatzigiovannis

             zeca(c) kourbelis

    koutris siovas retsos bakakis

                odysseas

not sure. Sokratis very suspect though and it sucks because he's our best player but what he's saying is just so wrong. Kastouranis is friends with him and needs to knock some sense into him.

I like Bakakis, Koutris, Zeca, Chatzi, Bouzoukis because they're very hard workers. Retsos and Donis also give me the vibe as well. I think Koulouris would feed off of that as well. I think Siovas is solid as well and elphantos who knows them says he has more brains than Sokratis/Manolas

Odysseas I'm not sure on I mean he plays for Benfica but maybe even pasxalakis. Zeca and Kourbelis have good chemistry from the pao days

even with this line up I think we should be able to beat Finland provided the cancer mentality dies

a captain should motivate the other players and the only player I think that does that is Zeca for us.

  6. Sokratis's saying that we can't make it is loser mentality. Sorry. I'm from kalamata like him so I have a soft spot for him but that's a loser mentality. Not captain material and diva behaviour. He's good in the good times and a baby in the bad times.

We've lost to Albania in qualifiers and some other minnows before. You gotta have a never say die attitude.

This shows one of the main problems with the NT. The psychology is off. The talent is there because we're clearly better than Armenia. We're . underperforming. Team should invest in sports psychologists and some Tony Robbins seminars, seriously..

  7. I liked the fight at the end nearly tied it at 3-3 with sokratis cross bar header. We're not dark ages but we're a team that battles for that last qualifier spot. We also were missing two of our best attackers in Mitroglou and Donis. Torosidis out is also a loss. We can still do this. If we came back against Bosnia away then we can win every game. The Italy game is the only game on paper we should lose.

Bosnia took a massive blow by us and we still have to face Finland. Finland had our number in nations league though so that's the key match up.

I'm less optimistic about the NT though for sure finally.

  8. I haven't payed attention enough to the game but it seems we're playing a very high line.

whenever greece played well we played deep heart attack defensive football. we should perhaps return to that. i understand we got speed with manolas and sokratis but we should just tighten up the back and just take our shots rather then play possession style and do nothing.

I'd take a classic 1-0 or 0-0 then copping 2 goals to Northern Ireland and Armenia

And then hiring Ranieri added to the teams misery after experiencing such a great run of success under Fernando Santos.

pretty sure we lost like 5 keys player after world cup 2014 + new coach. No Kastouranis, Samaras, Karagounis, Salpingidis, Gekas. Huge hole was left that campaign.

The last euro we were okay. We gave Belgium a run for their money and they were top 4 and got knocked by Croatia who was in the final.

The other tournys were we qualified we got in by 2nd and knock out rounds to Ukraine and Romania. A lot of things lined up.

  10. I'd take a draw. the real matches to be won are against finland / bosnia.

will be very interesting how we match up against the italians though. I have always felt that from the teams often in top 10 discussions that they're the ones we can take the most. we have similar playing styles. They have more skill in the attacking third, whereas we have more size/strength in the defensive third.

  11. Bakakis is okay as RB. He has great stamina and decent crossing. We just been blessed with great RB's in Torosidis and Seitaridis over the years.

Left flank looks better though with Staf, Tsimikas, Koutris

hopefully Mitroglou can be there. his strength and ability to score on very few chances like he did against Belgium is invaluable to the NT.

  12. I don't think that Turkey is a good friendly idea. Because of the history and politics etc. it's not a good reflection of where our team is at. IE the last friendly with them we were playing not too lose and just did 5 atb so they wouldn't score at all costs. I guess an exercise for our defensive muscle but no.

I think a smarter friendly would be between a very good side ie) France, Belgium, Netherlands

or a smaller side with a more professional FA like Northern Ireland, Wales, Czech Republic

playing a rival international derby is just unnecessary stress

Northern Ireland would be good because they're a mix of english 1st and 2nd division players. Probably the best run league in the world.

KPaps doesn't make top 5 CB's for Ethniki now. Sokratis, Siovs, Manolas, Retsos & Mavropanos.

Mavropanos barely starts for Arsenal this season and the few games he has arsenal ate so many goals.

Retsos has been out as much as Kpaps this season. I'd personally like Retsos to be our RB to just make it sturdy. His crossing and ability going forward is suspect. He's very conservative defensive winger. Kinda reminds me of Vyntra but with way more potential.

Siovas you can make an argument for and he's the only one of the 6 that has long ball playing abilities. He also is uniquely left footed and as the great prophet elphantos says he's the one with the most brains of the 6 (possibly Retsos does too but haven't seen enough of him and he's not as robust.)

I think Bosnia may drop points against Finland especially without Pjanic. I can see them drawing. Realistically I don't think we will beat Italy but a draw is more realistic.

yup bosnia might've messed up their whole qualifiers because Pjanic is out for a game or two? Finland being a threat baffles me but I guess they have a good team this round. Nations league is kinda a joke tourny though so might've just gotten lucky. Ronaldo didn't even play for portugal for it.

  15. I like Masouras but I'm not sold on Kolovos. I think he just got lucky on that goal. No one marked him because he's not usually much of a threat. There's a reason why Masouaras is now a starter at Oly right away where as Kolovos could never crack the line up over several years as a starter. I'd rather Donis on the wing with Masouras and Mitroglou striker or Koulouris.

He does drop back to help out which is good and does more than what Mitroglou does. He has only scored 1 long shot. A strikers needs to score in different ways. He can score with his head and is dangerous in the box but that’s about it. I hope he proves me wrong though...

bicycle kicks for days. he has a nice snap shot that can be honed from outside the box. remember that snapshot volley for the NT in nations league?

  17. I don't want him to leave Atromitos yet to be honest. It's always a risk to move someone fast right when they hit peak form.

Maybe have a good season with PAOK now that Prijo is gone too with better team mates around creating for him.

Should give Koulouris a full 90. Whether that’s against Italy or not you will only find out if you give him 90 minutes. Again I’m not a huge fan but I’m all for giving him a chance. I see Durmisaj more of an effective striker even though he has less goals. Only because I see other important aspects eg long range shooting, his size, speed and has some flair to his game.

koulouris has excellent long range shooting and he actually does track back to create too.
