Είδα την χάρτινη με την Μπενφίκα στο δεύτερο ημίχρονο. Το γήπεδο έγειρε κυριολεκτικά και αν ο Κλωναρίδης έδινε πάσα στον Γιακουμάκη θα γινόταν το 3-2. Βέβαια στην επόμενη φάση η ΑΕΚ τρώει ένα γκολ για κλάμματα και χάνει τον αγώνα. Θα τα ρίξουν πάλι στην τύχη, αλλά η Ευρώπη δεν συγχωρεί τέτοια λάθη. Θλάση ο Πόνσε και κάκωση ο Οικονόμου. Αρκετές απουσίες κόντρα στον Ολυμπιακό. Το καλό είναι ότι θα έχουν δύο ημέρες περισσότερη ξεκούραση από τον Ολυμπιακό. Προτιμώ νίκη της ΑΕΚ στο ΟΑΚΑ ή ισοπαλία. Πιστεύω ότι ο Ολυμπιακός είναι πιο πλήρης ομάδα και θα μας κοντράρει περισσότερο για το πρωτάθλημα. Ο Ουζουνίδης κάνει θαύματα. Με ομάδα/ρόστερ παρωδία καταφέρνει να παίζει καλό ποδόσφαιρο. Με τους απλήρωτους του Παναθηναϊκού (Κλωναρίδης και Χουλτ) θα έπαιρνε αποτέλεσμα από την Μπενφίκα. Τα αποτελέσματα δεν του βγαίνουν βέβαια, αλλά όποιος περίμενε κάτι διαφορετικό από σερί ήττες στο Τσουλού ζει σε ουτοπία. Η ΑΕΚ θα πάλευε για την τρίτη θέση, αλλά πλέον όπως φαίνεται θα πάει για την τέταρτη. Δεν φταίει αυτή, η Ελλάδα είναι ακόμα πολύ πίσω σε σχέση με τον δευτεραθλητή Ολλανδίας και Πορτογαλίας. Πάντως η σημερινή ΑΕΚ αν είχε Αραούχο, Βράνιες θα ήταν πολύ ανταγωνιστική. Βέβαια δεν είδα το πρώτο ημίχρονο όπου μέσα σε 15' και χωρίς να ιδρώσει, η Μπενφίκα τους είχε 0-2. Προφανώς αν δεν έμενε με 10 παίκτες δεν υπήρχε περίπτωση η ΑΕΚ να κάνει τέτοιο comeback. Αλλά όλα μέσα στο παιχνίδι είναι. Και οι χαμένες ευκαιρίες και τα δοκάρια και τα αυτογκόλ και οι χαζές κόκκινες (βλέπε Κίτσιου).

Είσαι το καλύτερο σιρόπι ΠΑΟΚΑΡΑ! Πάμε με τρέλα για το διπλό. Εκτός έδρας Ευρωπαϊκό ματς για τον ΠΑΟΚ. Ομάδα κουρασμένη που παίζει με την πλάτη στον τοίχο κάθε αγώνα της εδώ και πολύ καιρό. Οι αντίπαλοι έχασαν τον πρόεδρό τους. Ματς που δίνει/κρίνει την πρόκριση κατά μεγάλο ποσοστό. Μόνο τρέλα και αγάπη γι' αυτή την ομάδα!

I am open to bets dude. But seriously, you won Asteras at the 92'. A match you could have easily lost if the post of Asteras went in. You won Panionios in the extra time again and we all know how. You missed a hell lot of chances against PAOK and PAOK played poorly. But what does that mean? We lost by Benfica 1-4. If you watched the game it should be a 2-2 easily based on how both teams played and the chances. Do you remember Varela scoring own goal in Karaiskakis? The tall center back you had last year scoring by accident? Djalma Campos missing clear cut chances? What does that mean? You still won those two games. In my opinion, Olympiakos is a good team. Better than AEK. Fortounis can be great. Lazaros in his day can be very good. Toure and Natcho have amazing quality. Nonetheless, they are still benched and we didn't see them in a long run of matches. What is true is you lack a center forward that can put the ball in the net. And your center backs are shaky.

Biseswar aside, I would love to see our team keeping players for a few years. I think this is one of the reasons we won yesterday. A team that doesn't change coach and 75% of the squad every year can do many things because of the chemistry. The other thing I would love to see, is as I said treating with respect players that are "old". Next year, Vieirinha/Matos/Pontus will be 33, Crespo/Canas/Khacheridi 32, Biseswar/Varela will be 31. Those are eight experienced players that could be starters or very very important this year and for sure next year. Keep them hot and treat them well. Show them they are valued and keep them motivated. And next summer try to bring four-five players that are below 28 to prepare the transition. Players like Jaba are also good, but like Lucas Perez, Cimirot, Mak, Rodrigues, they will never stay for too long. When a good offer comes, they will be gone. With Prijovic of course we hit the jackpot.

We know our team, but BATE is a questionmark for us. Can they give pressure on us? Are they more physical? Can they run more than us? Lucescu has good options for every spot. Hopefully, he will choose those who will give trouble to BATE. He can use Tosca as a CB or LB. Even Khacheridi could be used; his experience could be something important, depending on the opposite forwards. He can bring Vieirinha as a winger. If El Kaddouri is fine, he can be also used instead of Biseswar. On the right wing there is the usual Jaba/Limnios dilemma. Pontus also instead of Canas can be an option.

This game will be after BATE Borisov. Players will have only two days of rest again. Probably Khacheridi, Shakhov, Karelis, and Akpom have to step up for it.

The question is simple. If we release a player, where is he gonna go? I easily can see Olympiakos or AEK signing Biseswar. He is a very good player. He lacks defending skills and finishing. But no one is perfect. And given the fact that he never created problems even though he stayed on the bench without a good reason, he is a gem. Now, the $$$ is up to Savvidi. I really like to see PAOK treating with respect "older" players. Next year he will be 31. Hopefully they won't offer him a one-year deal. This will be his last good-paying contract and he will probably ask for another three-year contract. Even then, I say, give it to him and let him retire with PAOK shirt, serving for six years.

Everyone points out that after the 0-1 Olympiakos was the only team trying to attack. I agree. However, Olympiakos dominated the first 15' of the game. After that and until the 0-1 I don't think that anyone felt we were in danger. We were in control of the game and Olympiakos couldn't actually create problems besides the free kicks or the corner kicks they had. Now, we we all tried to defend after the 0-1 that's another story. I didn't like it myself, but I cannot point out that the offside in Prijovic could have been the 0-2 and the end of the game.

Ο Πρίγιοβιτς έκανε ματσάρα μάγκες. Ατέλειωτο τρέξιμο. Είναι ταύρος. Αν ο γαύρος είχε έναν Πρίγιοβιτς μπροστά και όχι τα λιμάρια που είχε θα χάναμε 4-1.

Βέβαια η μπάλα πήγαινε μέσα ούτως ή άλλως. Ίσως έπρεπε να πάρουν τηλέφωνο τον Κομίνη να τους πει πως βγαίνουν τα οφσάιντ!
