Novasport has announced the pre-season friendlies that they will broadcast in Greece:
PAOK
6 -
So ERT picked a game that has not been confirmed yet.
-
PAE PAOK's report on the first training session:
-
Ether that or a very exciting game. So much for Santos's defensive tactics.
-
Rumors are we are close to signing Jose Angel Crespo, the 29-year old Spaniard CB that is currently on loan to Rayo Vallecano from Aston Villa.
-
The Taremi rumors were clearly media manipulations by his agent to drive up the price, and Michel did not bite.
-
Matheus is in Thessaloniki probably going through medical tests and will likely sign tomorrow.
PAE PAOK denied that we are intersted in Taremi and Gojko. Both were also linked to Olympiakos. Lets see if they end up there.
Wednesday is when training camp opens, and we still don't have new center back(s), dekari and goaltender.
-
Have not heard that one, but heard that they want Sabo on loan together with Antonis.
-
Noboa very average vs the US, Ecuador deservedly lost. Was subbed off at 62'
I watched the game. I think he was injured or completely out of gas.
Necid scored the tying goal for the Czechs against Croatia today with a penalty kick in the 94th minute.
-
Gabulov's statistics are something like 1.5 goals per game conceded in the Russian league. Why not just keep Olsen then.
Antonis to PAS loan sounds good, now that PAS will play in Europa League.

The last friendly in Holland might be against Porto on July 17.

Plays for Steaua. Apparently we're offering him 600k a year (wow). Seems we'd have to pay 2mm to buy him, too.
Why would you pay someone triple the amount he's getting now? I understand a little raise, but triple his salary? Also why pay two mil, when Steaua only paid 1 mil to get him.

Well Tudor is not around anymore ...
-
It's official. Vellidis is staying for 2 more years.
Also PAE PAOK informed the following loaned players to report to the training camp on June 22:
Pereyra, Kouloutris, Pouggouras, Giannoulis and Deligiannidis

Djalma signing is official. 3-years, 700K per season.
Looks like we will be keeping Vellidis after all.

Djalma will be announced tomorrow. The excuse is that the Turkish FA is dragging its feet sending the piece of paper saying that the player is free and not under contract.
Apparently the Mateus signing depends on the fact if we receive an acceptable offer for Mak.
-
Djalma was in Thessaloniki today and passed his physical. Contracts will be signed on Monday.
-
Panionios did not receive a license to play in Europe. PAS Giannina will take their place.
-
Don't forget that Savvidis does not directly own PAOK. On paper the Cypriot company which is linked to Savvidis's sons has the majority of PAOK shares.

If that's the case we might as well stick with Vellidis.

Actually the players had nothing but good things to say about Artiko, and considering that in the playoffs the team was very fresh compared to the other teams I would tend to think that he did a very good job. Don't forget that PAOK the first team to start competitive matches last season.
I have a feeling he will end up in Turkey with Tudor.
