The most PAOK fans outside of Greece are located mostly in Germany. There are not that many PAOK fans in the US and Canada. There are probably more PAOK fans in Australia (even though it does not exist). The problem there as noted by our friends from down under is the time when the games are played live, so we can't expect many subs from there. I would venture a guess that the subscriptions outside of Greece are around 3,000 as Yiankos points out. Definitely not more than 5,000.

For next European season we are already guaranteed 2 spots in CL and 3 in EL. For 2021-2022 we are almost 99.9% sure not to finish in 15th place, so it doesn't really much matter what Olympiakos does. The only good thing is that they will be busy with European game in between Superleague games. As it is the PAOK - Olympiakos game will be played in between the two EL games that Olympiakos will play (Thursday EL game, Sunday PAOK - Olympiakos, Thursday EL game). This can only be good for our team.

Glad to know there is at least one person that likes me. As for Larisa numbers I have not heard anything, but I think it would be safe to assume that the number is around 10,000 - 20,000 judging from previous similar games. As it is all those numbers are estimates anyway, unless PAE PAOK comes out with official numbers.

Petros Tsagarakis (Chania), the son of the ex-ref during the "paranga" days has been assigned to call this game. What is with all these ex-referee offspring's going into the refereeing trade? There must be some good money in that field.

@pash the commercial subs are around 1,000 (not 800). Not sure about the OPAP subs, but I think the 1,000 figure is a bit high.

On a radio show on Arena FM. That's where the 50,000 figure came from as well. Foreign subscription number were not mentioned. The presenter on the show claimed that his contact at PAE PAOK expressed his displeasure with the low foreign subscriptions. Also I remember few week backs on the same show there were several callers from Germany that claimed that only small percentage of PAOK fans subscribe to PAOK TV, and that most prefer broken IPTV services that include PAOK TV as one of their channel.

If you don't subscribe to the season package you are not able to watch past games.

All those shady IPTV services are always one lawsuit/police raid away from being terminated.

Here are some number updates for PAOK TV: 20,000 individual subscriptions sold for the PAOK - Xanthi game The total number for full season subscriptions is around 50,000. Previous figures (55,000+) that were floating around were someone's imagination. Commercial subs are around 1,000. Finally PAE PAOK is very disappointed from the subscriptions outside of Greece. They were expecting bigger numbers. I think as long as all the illegal IPTV services have access to the PAOK TV stream, I would not expect the foreign subscriptions to improve.

It turns out it was not Panopoulos's dealership that was set on fire. However the big news from yesterday is that Aris "majority shareholder" went on Marinakis's TV channel saying that Olympiakos and Aris are being cheated out by EPO and referees. He also said that PAOK and Xanthi should be investigated and relegated from Superleague. Basically he was reading a prepared statement written for him by Karapapas and Theodoridis. If there was any doubt that Olympiakos controls the 'O' Aris football team than after yesterday's events there should not be any doubts left. Incidentally the same propaganda was spread around by the ex-Olympiakos player and ex-Aris coach Anastopoulos over the weekend. Looks like an organized propaganda campaign by Marinakis and his stooges.

Last time I checked their web site the monthly subscriptions were $39.99, $49.99 and $69.99. That was before their lawsuit with Dishnetwork.
