  1. Don't like the lineup either. Hoping for a miracle.
  2. Great display by the one and only true representative of Greek football. Completely destroyed Mbaougk and set the course straight to normality After all you can't have a team from Bulgaria or Turkey to keep winning titles. And if everything fails we will employ the government to pass laws in one night that will award the title to one and only team that deserves it: Olympiakos.

  4. Missing Crespo will be a big blow. Specially in the playoffs. It is also evident that the absence of El Kaddouri has impacted our game. I like pash's lineup above. The only change I would make is not start Vierinha. I would put him in the 2nd half to lift the team. My surprise start would be Lambrou instead of Vieirinha. The only other change I could see is Augusto for Esiti.
  5. One time special on Phantis PAOK forums. My prediction 4:0 for Olympiakos with two penalties in favor of the best team ever in Greece.
  6. Non-biased media does not exist in Greece, but out of the many sites available out there it is the one that is more believable than others. They even have Aris reporters, and until recently we could even read the great Xrysanthos articles there.
  7. Name the place and time.
  8. AEK disposed of Tripoli and is the 8th team to make the quarterfinals. The four quarterfinal games next week are: PAOK - Panathinaikos PAS Lamia - Olympiakos Atromitos - Aris Panaitolikos - AEK
  9. Crespo still not ready and will not play.
  10. I'll go for a beer with you anywhere you want. That will give you a chance to explain to me O'Aris's transfer strategy all these years.
  11. sport24.gr is one of the is sites controlled by Marinakis interests. He owes over 80% of the media in Greece. Makes things easier to brainwash people that way. Nobody invested Savidis's money in PAE Xanthi. Distant relative of Savidis's wife purchased a resort that is in the vicinity of PAE Xanthi's training facilities. According to EPO's dual ownership laws in the books currently that person could have directly purchased Xanthi without any consequences. The Mitsotakis government fearing backlash from PAOK fans and the electorate base in Northern Greece hurried to pass a new law replacing relegation with point deductions. Never mind that this law can't be enforced until the next season and unless UEFA/FIFA approves it. Anyway day by day events slowly shows how EEA came to their recommendations. PAE PAOK needs to directly push the case through EPO courts, and eventually to CAS if it goes that far. If there really is PAOK's involvement with Xanthi than the relegation punishment should stand. One thing I remember right before the start of the season was Marinakis talking to the Olympiakos players and telling them that Olympiakos will win this year's title at any cost. Now we know what he meant.
  12. Reports are now out that Olympiakos lawyers as well as the press spokesman for Lefteris Avgenakis (Secretary of Sports) met with one of the EEA committee members late at night just few days before they made their ruling. I wonder what were they discussing. Maybe they were they just having tea. There is no doubt in my mind that Olympiakos along with the government and with the help of their puppet teams conspired to manipulate the EEA to falsely accuse PAOK and Xanthi.
  13. Refereeing trio from Azerbaijan to call this game.
  14. With all the relegation saga we still have to field a team and play a very important game on Sunday. There is no doubt that the players are affected by the events. That was quite evident in Monday's game. There is a reason why the committee of puppets (EEA) released their ruling just minutes after the game against Volos has started. Their goal was first to influence the players, and then also hoping that 20,000 fans in the stands would cause trouble and PAOK would be punished. The players will need to concentrate on their game and do their best to get the best result. Also the coach needs to start playing players in their natural position and also use the players that are in form. This will be a very tough game.
  15. The sad thing is that even if PAOK is innocent, we will still get punished. Except for the fans the team has no other support. Even the local politicians who depend on votes from the locals sided with their master who is controlled by the owner of Olympiakos. Let's not forget this whole issue is not directly about PAOK. It's a campaign to chase Savvidis out of Greece.
  16. The trial is scheduled to start tomorrow, but I would not be surprised if it is postponed. Something that has been going on for the last 4 years. From what I understand if this drags until next year, the case will be dismissed.
  17. Apparently we will play an away game against Holland on May 28. Still no news on the second friendly in the US which will be played on March 26. There is news that Olympiakos is complaining to EPO about the trip to the US and wants it cancelled.
  18. Yiankos is exactly right. It is one of the reasons this whole farce was set up. It is to save Olympiakos's ass in case they lose the match fixing case. That case is finally going to court after many years of delay and Marinakis with the help of the government is taking precautions. Any point deductions along the way will be a bonus. The other main reason of course is to force Savvidis to abandon PAOK and leave the country. Let's not forget that USA is not that happy with Russian investments in Greece, and now they have a an ally in the new Greek government. I see it as a miracle that the government acted right away and in one day is trying to pass a law that relegation is not the correct punishment, and the more suitable solution is points deductions. They even saying PAOK should get -6 and Xanthi -10. This was their goal from the beginning. This is a master plan that was put into motion immediately when the new government took office. This is to reward Marinakis who has been supporting the New Democracy party financially. As AchillesHeel points out, PAOK should call their bluff and fight this until the end even it means relegation in the end.
  19. I don't think we will win on Sunday. Sadly PAOK has been getting worse for the last 4 games. On top of it appears that the Olympiakos plan to derail our team outside the playing field has had some success.
  20. And not only that. Marinakis is using his puppets to help his cause.

  22. PAE PAOK with an official press release calls for Avgenakis to be sacked by the government:
  23. See above for the ruling and appeal information. Since this deals with PAE PAOK we will continue the topic here. In my opinion this is nothing but a another try by Olympiakos not to lose another title. The little babies and their little pets could not live a 3rd straight season without winning title. Here are the vents as they unfolded: First, they waited until a government of their liking takes power. Marinakis with the help of his koumbario (New Democracy Party) installs Lefteris Avgenakis as the Undersecretary of Sports. Avgenakis is frequently seen dining with Marinakis, Kougias (Larisa owner and lawyer), Mitropoulos brothers (Olympiakos and Aigaleo to win and everyone else to go F*** themselves) in fancy restaurants in Piraeus and Athens. Olympiakos using the media controlled by Marinakis plants a story (fake conspiracy theory) on One Channel TV that PAOK is part owner of AO Xanthi. One Channel is owned by Marinakis as is 75 % of media in Greece. This media empire takes the story and runs it non-stop to shape public opinion. Right after the story runs on One Channel (Marinakis TV), Lefteris Avgenakis sacks two members of EEA, whose origin was from Thrace (Xanthi) region. They are replaced by two new members whose origin is Piraeus (surprise, surprise). And those two new members today voted in favor of relegation in the 3:2 decision (surprise, surprise).
  24. By a vote of 3-2, the EEA decided to revoke PAOK's certificate of ownership and Xanthi's shareholding. This means EEA basically decide that PAOK and Xanthi should be relegated from Superleague. They also fined Xanthi 400,000 Euro and PAOK 300,00 Euro. Superleague now has to vote to accept their ruling. After that PAOK has the right to appeal Superleagues decision with EPO. There is also a final appeal available with CAS.
  25. The most pathetic display by PAOK this season.
