It was very strange. Don't know what the other games showed, but on PAOKTV at least they just zoomed in on the ref's face for literally minutes at a time. Happened more towards the end. At one point (after our second goal), Pelkas went to talk to him and the guy seemed to be saying something like yeah the goal counts (I'm assuming; Pelkas was mollified and went away). But if that's the case...why take so long?? I should note that he didn't go and check any video himself, nor did he seem to ask for it. Gave me a heart attack every time.

Read earlier on Instagram that Ingason rejected this call-up to his NT so that he could train more with his team. No idea if that's true. But he's gotta be smelling blood at this point.

The team is fine, the tactics just need to be improved. Looking forward to the return of Mauricio though.

Don't want to take risks with the back. I am very confident with Ingason there though. Varela needed to sit out a few games; just wish it was because the coach realized it. Though there's a risk that you'd upset the locker room if you bench one of the team's big dogs. Game overall is kind of average. We should win comfortably but this is exactly the kind of game where the opposing team can score a quick one off the counter and make us miserable (like Thursday's game). Panionios will be desperate for any points to cover that deficit.

I was so sure he was going to get kicked to the curb and yet we still have one day. But...there are other leagues that will be open a while longer. I doubt he'll get playing time but fingers crossed!
