Papadopoulos might go to PAOK. I think it would be a bad move. He should stay abroad as it would benefit the national team. Him and Retsos are clearly our back ups. I don't know why Siovas hasn't been called up. He has been clearly doing well in Spain for 2 seasons. He could more stable then Manolas and Sokratis. Hid weakness is his pace in my opinion but his passing is the best from all our centrebacks. We should utilize him.

Hopefully. Marinakis has told almost all the Olympiakos players to leave and that Olympiakos will be playing some of the u20s from the academy. Fortounis will most likely leave next season aswell as a few others. This is a good chance for Androutsos to play a full 90 game as he needs it.

If you look at the players that are around them in the national team no wonder they can't score enough goals. They create things in attack and they mostly do things on their own. They are impressive because of their ball control and fast dribbling and can become dangerous against defences. Most of our attackers are not playing for the best teams in Europe anyway.

Samaris only played 2 good matches for the Ethniki and that was in the 2014 world cup. Since then he has done nothing special. As for Tachtsidis I agree with J1078 I am over him. He has been below average lately and the bench is the best place for him now. I actually believed in these 2 players after the world cup 4 years ago. I'm tired of waiting time to bring in better talent.

Vasilakakis and Giannoulis should be in the team.

The only reason to be a bit harsh was because of the team we played against. The last time we played well and dominated was against Hungary in 2015 if you remember. We played much better than even thought the score was 4-3. Pelkas was playing also Fortounis and Mantalos. Our fullbacks were Kitsiou and Stafylidis ahich provided more of an attacking threat like the way against Egypt. We have a problem in the defensive midfield position. Zeca is the only one but can't do much with the ball. Taxi, Samaris and Tziolis can't do the job and have been playing poorly. It's because they are slow and not mobile enough. As far as the performance goes against Egypt we could of played better and scored more. Like I said the game against Hungary is our best performance by far and that was 3 years ago.

Retsos provides stability at fullback. Stafylidis more of an attacking threat. I personally don't mind Retsos at fullback because he can grow there. He has provided assists at Leverkusen at fullback. So he can grow there. Bakakis should be the starting right back. He should be by now. Gianniotasy, Donis, Pelkas and Lazaros are our wing options. We need to slowly faze out Tziolis, Tzavellas and Torosidis. Vasilakakis is a player that should of been called up but didn't. Galanopoulos will get called up in June.

That's what we should aim for. We need to pick this team based on club form. There isn't a big difference between our players. Fortounis vs Pelkas or Stafylidis Vs Bakakis or Lazaros Vs Donis. We should pick a team of players based on their club performances.

Manos for sure I don't think Manias is good enough. I believe he is like Klaus.

First of i don't how people can say this was a good performance. The only positive thing about this game was the result. I believe Tachtsidis and Tziolis slowed the team down a lot. They can't help themselves. Bakakis is better than Torosidis. Pelkas showed more energy and fight in that position. We have a problem and that problem is the midfield. Samaris, Tachtsidis and Tziolis should not play at all for this team. Only one can be called up. I'm not sold on Kourbelis either. Zeca is one option to have and the other is a hard decision. Our wingers were good. Lazaros, Gianniotas and Donis are talented enough to play on this team. Pelkas can be used there and not Bakasetas. Karelis played well. Hopefully Manos gets called up in the next friendlies as the season will be over by then. The performance could of been better. Which means the only way to fix this is by playing better players who like to play fast and are a fast themselves. The players that did well today were Barkas, Gianniotis, Bakakis, Stafylidis, Lazaros, Pelkas and Karelis. Also to note this Egypt team were not that good and we should have scored 4 goals. Also our 2nd team should be our 1st team. Players like Torosidis, Samaris, Fortounis, Tziolis, Tzavellas and Bakasetas should take a seat and watch how real players play.

If Karelis had the speed of Pelkas then he would score more goals.

Pelkas doing well. Lazaros needs to release the ball earlier. Bakakis adds more speed on the right. Skibbe needs to know this. We are playing slow and i dont know why. Kourbelis needs to play. Tziolis doing alright. He is playing better than Tachtsidis.

Is Karelis ok for the match.

I don't know man it's crazy. How did Kone not get called up? Galanopoulos didn't get called up probably because of of the u21s. Lamprou the winger of Panionios should get a look in next time also.

I agree 100%. He is the only that can make something happen in our team. He just needs to work on his end product.

Donis is not overhyped. I thought he did well. Could of played better but that's because he hasn't been playing for the last 3 weeks. When in form he can be very dangerous.

@La Mendel Makos, Petsos, Pliatsikas, Vyntra and Avraam don't deserve to be anywhere in this team. Chalkias really? Torosidis was one of the worst players today. Bakakis is better and he proved that. We can't just have experienced players for the sake of it. They have to be at least decent. Sokratis, Mitroglou, Karnezis and Samaris should be the senior players. Manolas and Retsos played good. Retsos looked stable. Sokratis didn't play well. Fortounis didn't play well. There was one chance where Mitroglou put Bakasetas through and instead of shooting he passed it back to him. Donis full of pace but no end product. He has to work on his end product then we will score goals. Zeca was one of our best players. Pelkas was really aggressive which was good to see. Kourbelis didn't do well today but was running into space.

Fortounis is actually our best attacking mid at the end of the day. His change of pace and control is good. I just want him more active. Donis has amazing pace. I also believe that Mitro is our best striker. This game needs speed, we should put Kourbelis and Pelkas on.
