Whats the status of Almeida? He was injured after like 20mins in the first game vs Xanthi, maybe the sonic boom shot slipped one of his discs or something.
-
FT 0-0
Time waisting by Iraklis really killed the game the last 5-10 minutes.
We just werent clinical enough infront of goal, no proper striker and we missed Mandalos' creativity big time.
Opportunity wasted.
-
We are messing up simple passes.
We are looking more dangerous tho, Aravidis on now for Simoes with 20 to play, what a moment it would be if he scored after the facebook stunt

2nd half underway, I missed the first.
Here is a link

SUBS:
PEKHART OFF FOR PLATELLAS
VARGAS OFF FOR LAZAROS
Lazaros gone to CAM, platellas on the RW, and Baka up front.
PAMMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
-
Pekhart off, Put Bakasetas at FW, Vargas at CAM and Lazaros or Platellas on the wing.
-
Unbelievable all 3 drop points, tomorrows game has gained so much more importance.
PAME

PAO dropped points away to Panetolikos, need to capitalise.
-
^ Correct, have yet to see him feature.
-
I'd go;
Lazaros.......Vargas.......Patito
................Bakasetas
We also have Pekhart and Aravidis on call, however I feel Baka deserves a shot up top after last week, keep the momentum going.

Game re-scheduled for Monday 26th September 19:30pm Greece time.

Just saw the highlights, really good to get the away win, it looked like we could have scored 4 or 5.
Really worrying about Almeida, may be best to rest him next game so hopefully he is fit for Oly. Does anyone know if it's an ongoing injury he already had?
Horrendous goal keeping for the free kick, a very nice finish by Vargas.
I think we need to rotate our squad more this year (babakis, kolovetsios, aravidis etc) so we don't burn out like last season!!
That's the beauty about this year we actually have good players available at the ready that can replace players from the starting 11. Last year we were limited.
Bakasetas has given us a lifeline in the ST position, at least we have another option up there along with Aravidis and Pekhart to some extent.
3 points is all that matters away from home, we only won 4 away games last season. We can leave the beautiful footy for at home.

Bakasetas has been on fire today. MVP.

Shot by Bakasetas, who has now gone up front, pushed on to the crossbar by Veria's GK.

My stream gave way, when it came back Vargas was coming on for Almeida, hopefully nothing major.

Just tuned in.
Bravo re Bakaseta!
Straight down the middle keeper thought he would go to the right.
Lets get another before the break to kill it!

Reports coming in it will be the same team starting that trained last.

I'll save my judgement on the Lambro decision after the game.
Other than that its a solid lineup.
