Good to see Djebbour give us glimpses of what he can do if he puts his mind to it. The talent its there, its just the drive that isnt always. Penalty all day long, Makos came chopping from behind in the box, was always going to be given. Nothing laughable about it really. Johansson back to his best too. Really wish Mantalos had scored that penalty for his confidence.

I didnt see the game, but jesus christ some of you need to chill, its the guy's 2nd game in charge and already questioning the guy and stating I'm glad he only got a 1 year contract after 1/2 games is alarming..., give him some time to get a feel for the team and workout what needs to be done. We dont have the best of teams in fact we have a very unbalanced team and tbh have done well so far in the season. From what I have read it wasnt the best of performances but at the end of the day results is what matters at the end of the day. Let Poyet get a few under his belt and then he can focus on the performance. Would yous rather play beautiful football but not win? I'm sure both can be done but its still early days, the reason for that would be the lack of games we play, so far this season we have played 2/3 games then a long break, 2/3 games and then a long break again. No time for the team to get properly connected and gelled. There's only so much you can do in training. I agree Mandalos' performances have been below par since returning from injury, I'm sure game time will sort that out, the lack of games we play is not helping, either does playing vs our U20s.........

I think Meli will spend some cheese come Jan. He and many if us believed we would be doing better than we are at the moment. We are a quality striker and winger away from having a very very good team. Right now were are about 70% there, its all good and well having a good defence and midfield but if you dont have somebody up front to put the ball in the net then the rest is wasted.

Platellas was on fire and all of a sudden he is dropped....very weird. Soiledis is really frustrating. Id rather start Bakakis at Rb, Galo at RW and Platellas on the left, or Diego.

A solid back 4, providing Arzo is good. A solid trio in midfiled consisting of a player who can cut off opponents (Johansson), an all rounder in Simoes and a creative magician in Mandalo. 2 actualy wingers, who have naturally been made and created for their sole purpose to play on the wings in Platellas and Barbosa. And a proven striker in Djebbour. Weither he is up for it or not is another question.

Platellas is really a crucial part of this team. He also has an eye for goal and a tually makes decent enough efforts for a winger. He should have started today instead of Vargas who is not a winger no matter how many times we put him there. I guess the international break came at a good time, gives Poyet a chance to get some of these players who have been slacking in line.

I wouldnt say Diego is overrated, tbh I dont think he's been given a proper chance. How many games has he started in? 1? 2? Give him a chance starting and that way we'll see what he is made of. Not easy coming off the bench every game and be expected to produce. Even tho he sort of has, 4 goals in 7 matches or so. Manatalos doesnt have any. Vargas really F***ed us because up until that moment we were comfortably in control. This team will struggle for the remainder of the season if we dont sign a top class striker. Aravidis cant do it in the big leagues i seems, same with Chrisantus. Djebbour has proven he can but doesnt see to want to play at the top level and give 100% anymore. He knows he's earned his traid and now he's just riding his luck in collecting paychecks wherever he can. We are the suckers for buying him. The teams is more than capable of finishing 2nd, only thing stopping us is having nobody eho can put the ball in the net with ease. We really should go all out for Mantzios/Vellios or else face the possibility of no Europe next season.

Nothing special has happened in the game so far, had a few free kick shots saved but nothing troubling.

Weird that Buonanotte doesnt get the nod. If by some chance we are ahead at some stage by 2 goals i woukd like to see Bakakis get a run.

No way Platellas goes. That would leave us with literally 1 winger. I'll personally fly to Greece and deliver him Soiledis to his doorstep with a bow around him. Anakoglou I would like to stay but would be happy for him and Dellas to continue working together.

Hopefully there is a good atmosphere and crowd around to welcome him.
