    Table:

  2. .

WOW he needs a suspension and fine for sure. In England Dembele got a aix match ban for poking Diego costa, a punch is not acceptable....

Well it was a poke in the eye, potentially blinding, but yeah, still not cool from the terrorist and should definitely be banned.

  3. Now that all that bullshit has been put aside we can focus on talking about the game.

If the team that showed up today vs PAOK show up vs Oly we are in for a hiding.

  4. Rumors coming in that we have made a verbal offer to former Chilean NT manager Jorge Sampaoli. Apparently he is travelling to Europe for talks with Espanyol and a Italian team believed to be Lazio.

  5. On Poye - I think Meli was right in getting rid of him, to come out and state you wont be here next year without advising the management first is a big slap in the face, I feel Poyet is using the budget as an excuse/reason.

On Meli - I think its safe to say he has done a remarkable job since taking over, from being able to assemble players for next to nothing to jump up 2 divisions in quick succession and get us nack to the SL is amazing, he has built new offices, has helped in getting media attention on Marinakis' antics and also made a firm attempt to get a stadium and Nia Filadelfia. Spent small but got us to a cup final and a 2nd position finish on a regular season on our first season back at the top.

    Couldnt have asked for more...

All that aside we are now back in Europe, are firnly established back in the SL, have definitely made profits and have balanced the books, come the transfer window money needs to be spent, if Meli is serious about building a team that can challenege in Europe and for the title in Greece he will have to spend a few mil, we have come as far as possible on free transfers, its now time to get serious. I believe he will do so. Time will tell however.

  7. Its true, thats when Original turned on him, didnt he want to introduce some sort of security cameras to pick out the trouble makers?

What is he up to nowadays? Whats stopping him being involved? Is he on good terms with Tiger?

  8. I think it would be a good time to focus on other things besides the pig sty that is Greek football and think of better times, I think this guy deserves his own thread.

Not sure if any of you ever seen it but nice video on him and shows most if not all of his goals

  9. For me one of the biggest disapointments was the turnout, i understand its a friendly but that turnout was attrocious Tuesday night or not the game was at 8.30 not 11.

I was watching highlights of other friendly games today and all the stadiums were mostly full from the look of things.

Im not too dissapointed as the team out there is not our starting 11ada, a good 5/6 starters were missing, the worrying part is out backups are so bad, Tziolis is really the best CM we have im the whole of Greece, seriously? Moras? What? We are so far behind quality wise its sad, i can thibk of litwrally 5/6 good Greek players.

The sad thing is this problem will never be solved, money needs to be invested at grass roots level, from the looks of things only 2/3 clubs in Greece produce good quality players, the rest are for the poutso.

On another note i dont believe Skibbe is the guy for us, the lineup and subs today say it all.

  10. How?

Will open a lot of peoples eyes in regards to the state of the league and may actually do something about it, officiating etc.

I also believe Marinakis would not stick around.

Lets just say no Europe is not the worst thing that could happen IMO.

  11. F*** it, maybe it will fix this bourdello of a league, this is all the doings of the "hoolligans" from the top 4 teams, they have caused this, maybe if this ban happens, which I doubt will, maybe it will open up peoples' eyes and allow them to see what retards these hooligans are and may actually do something about it, It worked in England, although they are a more powerful country that can actually work up a plan and stick to it. Get ID cards in, cameras installed, anybody who is caught doing anything that will harm anyone should be banned indefinitely.

At the end of the day our league is an embarrassment, from the bottom to the top.

    - 1 team having won 18 of the last 20 titles - who would want to watch a league in which there is always 1 winner 99% of the time.

    - Terrible officiating, and by terrible I mean horrific, some of the calls made about off-sides especially are really nothing short of embarrassing.

    - Hooligans turning a game of football into all out war resulting in people not coming home alive from a football game.

    - Presidents getting too involved in what happens, in no other league that I am aware of do the presidents of the clubs have such power on the league, we have presidents bitching about each other in the media as if they are some sort of celebrities, imagine that happening in the Premier League? Abramovic and the owners of Arsenal, United, City and Liverpool saying s%$#! about eachother in the media,.....................

    - The most embarrassing has to be a club president of the team that has won 18 of the last 20 titles is involved heavily and corruption and smuggling of heroin, has been charged and ordered to stay away from football and to report to a police station every 2 weeks, yet he is allowed to do as he wishes, that for me says it all about this league.

So maybe a ban from Europe will be a good thing, maybe Marinakis will get up and go be a criminal in some other organisation seen as the money will stop coming in due to no CL money.

Maybe the hooligans will be dealt with in order to prevent such a ban taking place again.

Maybe the officiating will be fixed.

Too many maybes however, we all know nothing will happen, the ban will be overturned and things will continue as they were.
