The way Dellas plays it 4-2-3-1 is a good formation and he has the right balance at the back and middle but with that formation you need lightning wingers and ours have been sluggish at times.... We have the creative #10 in Mandalos, Anakoglou can play there and so an Zoric so we have the depth, its the wingers that are my issue, Barbosa needs to lift next season ALOT and Platellas needs to find consistency if they are to be our starting wingers..... I do like the 4-4-2 also but with the amount of midfielders we have many will sit out with this formation..... A 4-5-1 is also good but that's also similar to a 4-2-3-1....

Think its too early to be putting teams together for next season since we haven't even started making signings and with Dellas going 4-4-2 in the friendlies we just played it will be interesting to see what formation he goes with next season.... Don't see him changing what we have played all season 4-2-3-1 but a 4-4-2 does give your striker more support and maybe that's what he's looking to do at times next season against teams that sit back against us....

Well the playoffs have been said they will go ahead this weekend so lets hope they stick to their word, all these delays aren't helping us.

Simoes will be a starter 100% boys, he will sit next to Johanssen in the middle and for now Anagoklou will be #10 until Mandalos returns... I really see Cordero struggling to find a starting spot with Simoes & Johanssen there now...

Cant post the link on here for some reason but on aekfans21 it says they playoffs could finish 21st June as there may be a chance games will be played every sunday.... what a xeftila

Nothing confirmed yet again, my real big fear is that they are trying to find a way for us to not get promoted, another fear is our fans I really hope they don't do anything stupid during these playoffs which will give them another reason to F*** us & dock us points.....

Sa I wouldn't mind he's strong, can hold the ball up well and can score goals, his scoring record aint too bad either especially with his last 2 clubs (Limassol & Warsaw)

Well they now say playoffs will start on the 26th April, the thing I want to see is will they play weekend and midweek games as they have always done in the past or will they play games once a week just to make the season go longer for AEK and have less time to prepare for next season? This is my biggest concern...... If they play them weekend and midweek the season will roughly finish end of may, if they play them every weekend the season will finish late June.

I remember there was more than Anagoklou as once we got relegated a few stayed on with us and those 3 above were the first to resign with us.... We did have some talent, Founda was good but lacked direction he was still young so he could only get better, cant believe how he just walked away from us so easily, then he wanted to come back , so glad they shut the door on that, we don't need beggers coming back when they see AEK going in a good direction... I always liked Katidis but he lost my respect with his m*****a, no offence to anyone if they support XA but after what I saw in Poland & Ukraine Euro facism is F***en disgusting, that's my opinion anyway.... Pavli & Petropoulos were our only hopes as you said, there were times where Petropoulos could've done more for us but I think the fatc he wasn't getting paid after he was promise kinda killed his spirits.... Guerrero was also good at times for us but then again he could be the worst for us but he was prob the only leader like player we had..... I agree about tsoumaga he was a pretty decent and solid left back for us, shame we didn't give him another go but I think Dellas preferred to keep Gronti instead of him.... Bougaidis did ok to but after he made those cheap shots at us when he signed for PAO he lost my respect also.... Nightmare season and heart breaking also........ Good to see AEK going the right way now.....

Che I thought Cordero was playing unless he was injured..... The game vs the gavri was where we lost 1-0 from memory and we weren't given a penalty in the 1st half? Yes he did well that game, a lot of those players we had then had potential just sadly they were part of AEK at their worst.....

Back to Anagoklou for a moment, I just read an article saying he is the only player to have been playing on the pitch on that black day for us when we lost to Panthrakikos..... Anyone remember where Cordero was that game cant remember myself.... WORST DAY OF MY LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And to think yesterday was 2 years to the day of that game, look now how much has changed in these two years and how forward and professional our club has now become..... BRAVO to everyone who's made this effort become a reality!!!!!!!

And to think he started like a house on fire for us (Anesti) but that's what happens when he has no one challenging his spot. Next season wont be so easy for him if we get another keeper of similar or better quality....

I honestly don't rate Platellas at all too inconsistent for me and very selfish and his finishing most times is terrible..... Barbosa has shown glimpses of brilliance but he hasn't broken out of his shell, hopefully that changes next season as he does have potential. We need a striker 100%, a right back also and a keeper. Pretty happy with our left backs they've done well and will only get better with time. I still say we need to get Kourbelis from Asteras the guys a F***en talent!!!!!!

Its a good headache for Dellas to have in my opinion, rather he have this many options than not have any at all. Simoes will walk into our starting line up, his stats this season are brilliant for a guy who's playing in an average team in the Portuguese league. He's a work horse who will do all the running from box to box, reminds me of a Gattuso style of player which is what we need for SL, where as Johanssen is more a holding middle man and screens our CB. Anakoglou can play as #10 but then we also have Zoric who when called upon always delivers. It will be interesting to see what happens next season and with another 2-4 players we will sign it will make it even harder for Dellas, exciting times ahead!!!

I like him a lot as a player, does the simple things right for us and his combination with Johanssen has been great to see. Kid has the potential to be in the national team whether he gets chosen is another thing....

Have faith as one of the people involved in getting it done said "if we didn't think we could build the stadium we wouldn't be putting in this much effort" As much as we all want the stadium done in a hurry myself included sometimes we also need to be patient as there have been a lot of hurdles & obstacles we have had to overcome to get this far and get the grants required.

You may have been talking about it for 10 years BUT in the last 10 years who's actually made an effort for it to be built? Has anyone else said they want to build in in Philadelphia? I don't remember anyone going this effort that's been put in. They have no legs to stand on to not let us build now with STE siding with us that helps us big time,its taken time and massive delays but they really have no other reasons to stop us from building and Meli knows this that's why he's stayed quiet all this time. He's done everything that's been asked and now they have run out of ideas to keep delaying us.... Do I believe it can be built by then? If they get started by June/July this year then yes I believe it can be done as it takes a good 18 months to build a stadium....

With the Stadium plans and grants slowly going our way they have now said the Stadium will be ready in 2017. Sad as I & the rest of us was hoping it would be ready for our return to SL but it wasn't to be.

Latest target for us now is Andre Santos (ex arsenal left back) 32yo, personally never liked him in the EPL but coming to the Greek League I think he could be someone who could add something to our defence, after all he does have plenty of experience with club & country.... Your thoughts?

I don't think this management will make the same mistakes like Gudjohnsen for example and pay outrageous wages for a player.... I would take one of those Brazilians as they do add flair to the team but I wouldn't take both as I am sure there are more players in Europe who can be found with talent & much cheaper....
