BARBOSA IS GOID TO GO FOR THIS GAME!

If we play a 5-3-2 we are gonna get ripped to shreds. We'd just be begging olympiakos to come and attack our weak defense, recipe for disaster.

The biggest game of the season is here. We play Saturday at 1930 Greek time at home against Olympiakos. We can't lose, we need at least a point. I expect at least 50,000 fans to be at the game which will be a boost to the players. We are coming off of a pitiful performance against Atromitos that will surely haunt us at the end of the season but we need to move on. For the derby I'd go with: --------------------------Anestis Bakakis----Kolovetsios---Labropoulos----Didac --------------------------Simoes------------------------- ---------------Johanson-------Mantalos-------------- Galo--------------------Pekhart--------------Aravidis We are really missing Barbosa on the wings badly and Galo has played further up at Panaitolikos when he played with Bakakis. Bakakis is a little better defensively than Galo, and Galo can help cover Bakakis. We are going to need to a big tall striker in Pekhart to try and unlock their defense and threaten from a set piece. However, we also need Aravidis because of the great energy and passion he brings to the team and the goals he's scored. Simoes back in the lineup helps us a lot, Zuchulini was the only player that played well against Atromitos but our three midfielders are irreplaceable when available. We also need Mantalos to play like he did in the three games before the Atromitos game, he sucked yesterday but I'm gonna give him the benefit of the doubt and say he was tired after 10 games in 33 days. We can not, under any circumstances, play Arzo. The man is absolute trash. Out Labropoulos back in because we need his speed in the back line. I'm not expecting much, I just hope they do not get embarrassed. P.S. We are most likely going to have fans for this game, but not the Panathinaikos game, our fans need to be civilized X

The last 3 or 4 games Mantalos has been starting to show his class. If he keeps it up he can provide the service Mitroglou needs.

But we did make a play for Villafanez, we made his old agent a scout for us hoping that we could bring him in easier and it didn't work because they didn't want to spend a dime. It would have been great to have him in now that Barbosa and Vargas are out.

One thing that is certain is that the next 5 league games will make or break our season. Maybe we should focus more on ourselves than on the others

Exactly, the Vazelo is a very streaky team. One result goes wrong and then all of a sudden they drop a bunch of points. They don't phase me.

Leto has played like 10 games the past two years in Seria B. Chances are he won't do anything in Greece, his knees are blown up. And there other signings are nothing spectacular, a few loan deals, and Vlachodimos on a free. And they sold there best player this year, I'm not worried about Vazelo.

He is tight and stingy, that's a fact. No one is above criticism, he made a bunch of mistakes. Hand picking Djebour as our starting striker, spending less money than we did last year on transfers even though we made a ton of profits, and trusting Bajavic who thinks the game hasn't changed since the 90's and is the reason we started poorly. Poyet is the only thing he paid for, and he will leave in the summer if he doesn't get back in the transfer market. No one asked for millions to be dumped into the team, but re p***** mou would spending 400k for an experienced center back other than Arzo hurt us financially or would signing a real striker during the summer instead of Djebour hurt? It looks like he's starting to wake up at least.

Melissanidis, Do whatever it takes to keep Poyet at AEK for many years and give him support in the transfer market. Given the roster we have, and the win streak we are on, he is probably the best coach in Greece at the moment. He will lead us to a protathlima one day soon if you back him.

Pekhart signed for an 18 month deal with a two year option at the end of it. Fage has been loaned to Trikala for 6 months, and Anakoglou has been loan for 6 months to Veria. I haven't seen anything new regarding the chrisantus sale and I hope it didn't fall through and we get stuck with him...
