Christian Chavez from Pas Giannina is trying to get released due to unpaid wages, he's been rumored to come to us. I don't believe this rumor because he's another dekari that isn't a true winger. Last thing we need is a 4th dekari, especially when we don't use that position under Poyet.

I hope so but he really struggles against teams with a tight defense like Xanthi. He's much better when we have a lot of space to operate, that's when his magic happens.

Johanson has a family issue going on now which caused him to miss practice a few times during the week. He thought he would be able to play today but he had to rush to the hospital to be with his wife and daughter who are both sick. It's nothing really serious long term, but he might have to miss today's game.

Early reports saying that Labropoulos will start over Arzo. Labropoulos the last few games has been very good, hopefully he keeps it up. It also looks like Galo will start at Right Back with Buononotte in front of him and Bakakis on the bench. Nothing is official yet.

I don't see it confirmed anywhere, after the summer situations with Giovanni and Hafez I don't believe we sign a player until he plays his first minutes on the field.

The British reports are saying that we are close to a loan deal for N'Zogbia. We'll see what happens, a loan is low risk for us but I don't believe it yet. Also, even if he didn't do well in the Premier league as of late, he should do well in the Super League. Just look how Vellios is tearing it up in the Super League after not playing for over two years at Everton. If we do sign him then we still need a Centerback ASAP, and then a third striker that is just as good, if not better than Djebour.

Big game this Saturday against Xanthi. We tied them 0-0 away in the league, and beat them 0-1 away in the cup. They are a very good team defensively so it will take a lot to break them down. We have some momentum coming off of two straight away wins which will help our confidence. Galo has also been very good this year, and since he has played further up the field before we should use him on the winger considering our lack of options. Aravidis has been good the past two games but Barbosa and Djebour are very important to us and can't come out of the lineup. He could play on the wing but to give Bakakis a chance and to not lose Galo's crossing abilities Aravidis can come off the bench. Cordero was probably the best on the field for us against Levadiakos but the three in the middle are so important and have so much skill it will be tough for any of them to come out. If anything, Mantalos would be the one to come out because he's been off of form, but I don't see it happening. It's ridiculous that we have so many great players in the midfield and at RB but we don't have any good centerbacks, only one real good winger, and only two strikers on the entire team.

Screw him, the only good thing he did in his life was bring Fernando Santos to AEK.

All of a sudden Panathinaikos signed 4 pretty decent players from the looks of things, we need to improve because they have really beefed up their attack.

It looks like we are going more after N'Zogbia than Agbonlahor. It's been years since I've seen either of them play since I don't really watch Villa. NickTheGreek do you think these guys can help us? Would they be worth the over 1 million euro salaries we'd need to give them? Obviously they have great biographies playing in the Premiership all their careers but I get worried sometimes with these players because of dedication levels and high contracts. I don't want an Essein like situation where the players always injured, or Berbatov where he just doesn't really care. If Melissanidis and Poyet really want these guys then money shouldn't be an issue, the gataki has plenty of money and he needs to back Poyet financially in the transfer market or else I wouldn't be surprised if he leaves during the summer on his own.

Agbonlahor N'Zogbia would be massive signings, they are probably way too expensive for us though. I read another rumor about Viliafanez from Panaitolikos, he's a good winger also.
