  1. So I doubt Sa is gonna come now... They better sign someone this transfer window...
  2. I mean yeah we are poor, we have spent no money at all this year. The 40% deal makes sense for us, he's 27 years old, even if he lights it up what foreign team is gonna pay big money for a fully developed striker from the Greek Super League. He's a pretty good player for us. Vadillo has completely fallen out of favor, we are trying to get him for free or on a loan. I don't think Tottenham made an offer for him this past summer, this kid has had two torn ACLs in the last 4 seasons.
  3. Reading gets 40% of the money if we ever sell Sa.
  4. The offer to Reading for Sa is 800,000 euros and 40% of his economic rights. Hopefully they accept.
  5. Djebour has walked around the field the last few games he's played in. He doesn't want to work hard, there's a good chance Sa is coming and he's better than Djebour so it makes sense.

    AEK BC

So much has gone down with this team that I can't even keep track of who we sign and who leaves. Cooper is already gone with his shitty attitude and he's been replaced by Dionte Christmas. Sakota was thankfully fired and replaced with a very good coach but there's only so much he can do with a team that doesn't know how to play defense. We've lost every single big game this year, we will be lucky to finish 4th after the playoffs. We have no chemistry so hopefully the coach can salvage the season and build a core of players that will be around next season. I hope Mavrokefalidis stays, if he leaves we are screwed.
  7. Close to signing Alvaro Vadillo. 21 year old winger with 90 appearances in La Liga. Would be a very good move for us.
  8. We made an offer for Sa around 1.5 million. Djebour has fallen out of Poyet's plans and if Sa comes then Djebour is third string behind Aravidis.
  9. PAOK tied against Xanthi. We have a huge chance of putting them under us by 6 points. We should not waste it.
  10. Djebour and Vargas both didn't practice today so who knows if they'll be available for Sunday... We need them both.
  11. This "offer" that Sevilla made was for a loan deal with a one million option to buy at the end of it, so he really hasn't convinced anyone that Tzanetopoulos is worth a certain amount. If they make a real offer with money involved I'm sure AEK will wrap him in a bow and send this distraction away on the first flight out of Athens.
  12. AEK made an offer to Tzanetopoulos the day after he rejected Sevilla, he didn't respond. AEK made another offer to Tzanetopoulos to re sign after the PAOK game and he didn't respond. They offered him close to 10x the amount he makes now and he didn't respond. Who's the one being unprofessional here? Who's pulling the strings? Certainly not AEK.
  13. If he was that good he'd be playing... If he and his manager were professional enough to at least respond to either of the two contract offers AEK made he'd be playing... It's on him, not AEK.
  14. You need both Aravidis and Djebour in this game. Aravidis can press them into making a mistake and Djebour can capitalize on it. Aravidis is a guaranteed start for Poyet, Djebour is the question mark.
  15. AEK made two contract extension offers this season to Tsartas about Tzanetopoulos and they didn't even respond... Shows you what kind of clown Tsartas is.
  16. The first home derby in our return to the Super League is Sunday against PAOK. We have won 5 in a row and are in great form, PAOK is doing OK and have some very dangerous in attack. We need to be wary of Mak and Rodrigues on the wings. They play a game midweek in Xanthi that might be in the snow so they will be tired. We have a perfect opportunity to extend our lead in the standings against them. I'd go with -----------------------Anestis------------------------- Galo-----Kolovetsios---Labropoulos----Didac -----------------------Simoes------------------------- ------------Mantalos-------Johanson-------------- Aravidis------------Djebour--------------Barbosa This is the type of game we got Djebour for, when one chance can decide the game and he's the most clinical striker we have. PAOKs defense isn't good and we should be able to create some chances. Aravidis and Barbosa have both been in very good form recently with scoring goals, providing assists, and pressing all over the field. We need them to continue their form in this game. In the midfield with Johanson, Simoes, and Mantalos we are much stronger than them. Simoes and Johanson are paixtarades and our the key to our success. Mantalos needs to step up his game in this one. Our biggest question mark is in defense. Galo had an awful game against them last time, as did Kolovetsios. Didac is a much better defender than Soiledis so he will improve us defensively. Labropoulos has been in good form and is much better than Arzo, he should start.
  17. No he's not investing money because he's cheap. He's always been cheap and always will be. He never spent a dime on AEK even in the 90s.
  18. Ok now I see the rumor in places... I hope it's not true...
  19. We haven't signed anyone and I haven't seen this rumor anywhere, everyone needs to relax.
  20. So it's January 19th and we still haven't signed a player. A mod might as well change the topic name to "Transfer Moves AEK, summer 2016" because we aren't signing anyone.
  21. Soiledis played well today? Up until the 60th minute he did not make one defensive stop, not one.
  22. 5 wins in a row. Good game from us, we have PAOK next week at home.
  23. Mantalos has been s%$#! and Arzo is s%$#! so it makes sense.
