A few things I want to comment on: 1. Bakasetas. This kid has a wicked left foot on him, I haven't seen a left foot that good in Greece since Rivaldo. We need to sign that kid ASAP, I would love to see what he could do playing with Mantalos. 2. After a 50-50 ref performance for the final, we were denied 2 clear penalties today by the ref and got the short end of the stick on all questionable foul calls. I think a certain fat pig is pissed about the final... 3. Since Poyet left we've seen Mantalos, Djebour, and Johanson play much much better back in their natural positions. Whoever the next coach is must surely not mess around with any of those guys' positions.

Platellas and Mantalos are playing very very very well today. Just 30 seconds before the goal Mantalos was brought down in the penalty box, a very clear penalty, and it was not given. The ref got lucky we scored right after.

0-0 half time. Playing pretty well but can't seem to connect on any crosses in the attacking third.

We should be up 1-0, all over them so far. If Platellas just passed the ball every once in a while he would be a good player...

Yes the only thing to play for is Champions league spot. However, I'd rather not get that spot, and hope Sevilla win the Europa League, and the Copa Del Rey, so we can automatically qualify for the group stages of the Europa League. Otherwise, it will be very hard for us to qualify because our UEFA coefficient is one of the worst around.

I read that Manolas has his wedding scheduled during those games, so that's why he's not being called up.

After everything that went down today, Melissanidis better follow through on his threat of not showing up unless the assistant refs are changed to Sidiropoulos' normal assistants for European games... If he doesn't follow through and we play the game with the current refs then he's dead to me and an even bigger gataki than I thought.

I completely agree with you. He actually spent less than 200k on transfers, what a joke!

Can everyone stop making excuses for the gataki not spending money now? Hopefully people have woken up and realized that Melissanidis has done a lot more harm than good this year.
