  1. 3 pts are 3 pts ? I will leave those concerns for the following days. It's a break time and national teams take places. We stopped that bad run if nothing else positive.
  2. Our defense is still exposed
  3. Diguiniy is stylish with the ball 1:2
  4. I am ok with that endekada of ukworm. I want Martinez in over and over to form even better opinion of him.
  5. Vidi won over ...that Paok, that omadara would you believe it

    2018-19 Season

I always enjoyed talking football to/with you guys at old forum, at this one, all these years. More than a decade. But I find strange how I almost always agreed with 90% of you when it comes to rating our players, roster overall, one by one player every season. We knew what their pros and cons were, how they breathe. But when it comes to coaches, actually I kinda have had different opinions with more than 50% of you. Maybe, because I am Balkanian from my birth and am linked to living at this peninsula of Balkans whole my life and, although I am not a typical citizen of this area, but probably still do have some common characteristics. ? Having this introduction, when majority supported Bajević, I didn't like nor rate him, when people supported Hoyos more than long enough, I waited for his sacking. I rated Quique Hernandez, many people didn't etc etc. And I have several more examples. Similar is with Paco Herrera. Not a huge fan of. So, am probably close to Mitsos' opinion. 4 in a row, 5 in 6, come on??! Can't find solutions after crisis took place, some players not used at fullest and many liabilities. Not so unreasonable to me. Yes, nice guy, yes that smile, yes he brought some players that made us believe, yes, I don't rate Greek coaches, yes I worry about who will replace him and whether he will stop this bad run etc etc. I also was one who put the bar at 8th grade of standings as season ending goal... Anything better is a bonus. But come on, 5 in 6 losses, disjointed team at Oaka, exposed defense where you concede 2 goals from 5 meters at home against Oly and Paok, and what to tell you also what we conceded at AEK. I couldn't take it any more.
  7. I believe, I stand behind it. Olympiakos played better than PAOK at Vikelidis and AEK also at OAKA. There is nothing to add nor subtract. It doesn't matter actually. My view of reality, my opinion and I am entitled to it.
  8. Well, very unfair with pointing at my replies on "this, that team" bla blah all the time. I am a humble guy who kinda always try to say something with arguments and only after I watch, not just Aris, but oppositions and Greek football in general, all these years. I don't like cheap talking. PAOK's performance against us? Second half? Passing like amateurs and being lucky. The same thing I said about Aris' passing in first half. I don't see what's wrong to state that Paok performance was crap and would have never won had it not been for Younes palto taking that penalty. You would have never gotten a tie let alone a victory. AEK display was ordinary to say the most. Aris and defense made them look like a 4-goal-scoring capable team. Come on, that was incoherent as much as you at Vikelidis. PAOK - European biČes at home. Yes. I watched them against Benfica, I watched extensive highlights vs. Videoton and many other home matches of any Greek club and why not you then. Swiss cheese at home?! Yess. Pathetic. Olympiakos, yes, I hate them, but that game of theirs was open to the fullest, passes were direct, quick, it was always gonna be either 1-X-2. Did I exaggerate? No. Better away performance yesterday than mpaougk's one?! Oh yes.

    2018-19 Season

Well, I wasn't that satisfied with him and his work as you were probably, but yes, I would give him a match or 2.
  10. Espirito Santo, the coach of Wolverhampton, first time replaced a player from the regular starting line up after 9 consecutive matches playing with the same starting XI. They have looked good. Quique Hernandez didn't rotate much, although some of them didn't like him, Cuper most of the time also didn't use rotation in big manner. Bajević had stability and trust in the core players from line-up. There is also that Portuguese coach that didn't change that I liked very much - hmmm the name? Oh yeah Manuel Machado. I don't say that Paco could have done it (forced the same 11), since we had some injuries, but regardless of them he still started certain rotation. Come on, without certain dose of money and depth in the team (read: Olympiakos and Paok) you should not rotate much in Greek football if you want to win matches in series. This is my theory. Yes - Menendez - in. I also didn't know Diguiny and positions in the game, what he does bla bla, as I stated that concern earlier, so did you guys, but still plays ok-ish and always hungry for a run and/or shoot, moves a lot etc. Matilla - good passing compared to some guys that play on the same positions. Velez - he looks clumsy sometimes, but actually it was seen that we had missed him against AEK. And Delizissis too missed, that is without a doubt, and Sousa not fav player of the coach. Come on, 3 stoppers are not there and/or favored for this or that reason. Too much and you are always gonna lose the stability between the lines on pitch. Krima that Paco too soon lost his plot. I always thought we could get better out of away matches especially. I don't blame him for a home loss to Paok, 'cause we tried. I was pissed off at Younes. Some players are not used with their 100% potential - Martinez, Sousa, Menendez, Diamantopoulos and that is the biggest disadvantage of this coach and what I blame him for.
  11. For some reason I like Diamantopoulos. Martinez is palikari And Xandi- our ex. Same old stuffs, slow as track but shoots whenever he can.
  12. Ronaldo-our legend looked smarter and had more leadership attributes to said the least. And other atts could be stability etc. But time will tell. Mavrai was kinda incorporated late, wasn't physically OK. As far as I am concerned, less than 2 points in next 2 games and coach will be done. I am sure that more relevant people, close to Aris management, also think that.
  13. I had no problem to say that. AEK don't look as last season's team, lost some players, the others are not in form etc. paok...ahhh sorry PAOK, are really nothing special and just because of current mediocracy and being-penniless-situation of PAO and below the line Olympiakos actually put you where you are currently in. Come on, you know that Greek soccer still sucks and your team is no good. Just look at the European performances for instance. Aris will regroup and still makes at least 30% if not more the Greek football more interesting and popular.
  14. Also, to lose 4:0 to this AEK?? I saw Ouzounidis jumping furiously several times in first and second half at 1:0, being disappointed by AEK game and passing. Sometimes they looked like school boys running headless on school yard. You can just imagine how our defense played and how we always were caught on the attack.
  15. Yes. It is even silly to me that you start Konstantinidis and Basha in defense, having 50% of positions, plus you have 2 stoppers injured, and you have Sousa who barely play, and only playing when must, etc. cup match, injury sub. The guy is good for locker room atmosphere, if nothing else. I said "nothing else" because probably our coach thinks so. He is a good player, especially as a back up player. Come on, it wasn't a huge sin to be short on Prijović's 2nd goal and it wasn't only his fault to punish him even more to always be on bench. He slided, tried, was just short.
  16. I think Paco is losing his plot. Actually I wasn't that impressed by his coaching and time being in Spain too, but I thought he would be enough for Greece. After we started on social media "go for 4x4 wins", our president showing off on Instagram etc., almost like considering ourselves as title contenders, Euro compets contenders, Paco Heerrera taking pictures with our staff smiling, soon after - they stopped being focused. Come on, no need for pressure. I just want our players to play. It doesn't matter if we finish 6th, 8th, I already said. Crisis management?! He needs to show it.
  17. We have CDs, but there is no room for experimenting. We do have absentees, but even one who are fit, aren'r used always.
  18. Very incoherent first quarter of the match by Aris, after that a bit better, some combinations, shots. Someone in the Aris-paok thread (Mitos I guess) mentioned already that we missed strikers to be on a higher level. Definitely, if you have Younes and Nazlidis, and refrigerated Diamanatopoulos in roster overall, you can not go for greater things. Also, where problem lies is CDM. Simply if you have Basha, Mantilla, Siopis where 2 of them are usually paired, you can not be concentrated for many minutes plus you are slow. For some reason I don't rate siopis, I like Matilla's passing but sometimes he looks disordered, especially now when confidence is lower. Also, when injuries started early in the season, and when you must rotate at DM and even CD positions, you know problem will start sooner or later. We need to stop this run of losses. Bad is when you potentially could take 0 pts in 2 matches against that bad PAOK and AEK who, truth be told, is kinda out of form and not crisp as last season.
  19. http://sportingvideo1.com/20181028/vv5bd58597669e91.78262960-2072472.html Stupid conceded goals keep amounting 1:0
  20. Considering some stupid interviews and sentences that Lucescu has said recent months and after, at least to me, an expected loss to Veni vidi vici football club, don't get surprised if you hear "We won over Aris and that is a season high, everything after that is a bonus" ? The mentioned mister stated also that the better side had won this match, and that is absolutely cocky and disrespectful and I wish them even more horrible season and happenings than the last one.
  21. Nahhh my friend, if this PAOK will make you happier now. Come on, we needed some fuel on it. On a more serious note, I first will blame on my defense, but that still doesn't change the fact that you were lucky and seriously lucky. I blamed Aris defense and errors in first half and actually our opponent made the same in the second looking amateur-ish too. I am sure my prediction would have gone along if Younes had tapped that 11-meter one in. What can I do, life goes on.
  22. Of course I will post as much as I want and my time allows me, whether it is before PAS game, before and after paok etc., Olympiakos one, doesn't matter. I can stand a loss as a gentleman. BTW, stick to BATE, "veni vidi vici" omada etc. because Benfica and many many other Euro teams put you where you usually belong and that comes usually at your own home soil by conceding several goals in. At the top? Yes, until your wild, "beasty" so called fans interrupt again and your boss takes a gun on... ?
  23. 1:2 it finished. Can't believe we lost to zmpaougkia in this way at the end of the day. Oh my Hamza, the last option you will choose at home, at 1:1, after 2 penalties scored so far in the season is to execute it low in the middle of the goal. Anything you would choose but this, really.
  24. I can not believe what I have witnessed in at half time (1:1 result) A totally dismantled Aris (read: defense including central midfield). How many back-passes we have had rolling to our keeper or back passes from Basha to CDs always flirting with an error. Problem No.1: a lot of starting new comers back there who haven't gathered much, almost no, time together compared to the sole start of the season: Sousa, Mavrai, Siopis, Valerianos (rotated occasionally) and one who looked to have most experience in gelling with his defensive partners looked totally exposed and out of order (Tzanakakis). Krima, with this crap defense we made them look actually ordinary, had it not for us they would have been utter crap. We are much quicker and always can hurt them off counters.
  25. 2:0 or 3:1 Good luck !
