I am more optimistic about the Italy games then the ones against Armenia. I know against Italy we will do what we do best and defend and catch them on the counter. Against Finland I believe we will beat them twice. I really do. If we go in these qualifiers as underdogs then we should do well and even claim 2nd spot.

It was a stroke of luck that Greece avoided Belgium, France and Spain who are the toughest sides in Pot 1 and dodging Germany was crucial. In this group we should be able to get 2nd . Bosnia tend to lose or drop points to weaker sides as was the case last WCUP qualifying when Cyprus beat them. I could see them faltering vs Finland and maybe even Armenia. If Greece are sharp and at there best will be punching our ticket to Euro 2020!

For me too. Being 1/4, 1/8, 1/16 Greek is no issue at all. As long as you really wanna play for your country and not treat it like a "good career" choice. But I just don't see how Villafanez will solve our problem. We have Fortounis, Pelkas, Donis, Lamprou, Limnios, Lazaros, Fetfatzidis and even Chatzigiovanis. Fortounis really isn't the problem here. That's plenty attacking options. Villafanez and Klonaridis won't add much I'm afraid. Although Klonaridis isn't worse than the ones mentioned. But he was seriously waiting for a call-up for Belgium all the years. I mean there is zero chance that will ever happen. We lack a proper (in form) striker and a strong defensive midfield. Guys like Zeca, Bouchalakis, Koutroubis, Tziolis, etc are very limited. It may also be time for the coach to change the system of the Ethniki. This 4-2-3-1 didn't do much for us.
