Seems to me that your main concern for the upcoming season is for Aris to not fair well so you can gloat about you being correct about the coach. You have become obsessed with him.

I've been listening to a lot of Salonica radio during the last couple of months and according to Tsaltidi, he has been by far the most accurate regarding transfers the last couple of years, Aris will announce about 5-6 deals. Cuesta & Matilla will remain with the team, Emanuel Sakic, Facundo Bertoglio and Mateo Garcia who supposedly has been looking for an apartment in Salonica. We can expect an additional 5-6 transfers and some youngsters will sign pro contracts.

I don't follow the transfer market and what players are worth but 2 million for a player that wasn't able to establish himself in the Greek SL sounds excessive.

You're right, the people in charge are not concerned about the growth of the league as a whole. This year has been more embarrassing than ever with the constant bickering between OSFP and PAOK, the actions of the AEK boss, our very own idiot etc....

I liked the idea of 10 teams playing 4 rounds.

@Emperor, I don't know if you any knowledge with this situation but how will this work exactly? If Aris pays off the 4 players which are owed money is the ban lifted automatically? I don't understand why this information becomes public when theoretically the team is still in negotiations with many sides, do you not lose leverage? It's baffling to me the way they operate.

It is my understanding they were going to sign and promote some more youngsters in January but because of the ban they didn’t. I believe that unless players have signed a professional contract you can’t bring them up for games.

Chris, unless the ban is lifted no player can join regardless of what Karipidis says.

Your question deserves an answer. You would still be playing in the first division since there’s nothing in the past to suggest that PAOK would be relegated. I might be mistaken but while your team does get punished with point deductions there have been instances where they’ve been helped to avoid worse case scenarios and I’ll leave it at that. As for the Garcia transfer perhaps you should wait before criticizing since Aris are still restricted by the ban which means transfers are a no-no and they cannot take players on loan either. Worry about PAOK for the time being and rest assured that as long as Karipidis remains the man in charge for our team you will have plenty of opportunities to ridicule us. They are doing us a favor because had they left Aris wouldn't be able to field a team. Aris fans should go to the beach because watching will only upset them. Do you realize if the team does not find a solution to the transfer ban there is a good chance next year we will be following our beloved Aris in the amateur divisions again? All that is going on right now, as embarrassing as it is, means absolutely nothing. Crossing my fingers that a solution is in the works.
