Round 14 of the Czech Gambrinus Liga featured the clash of the top two teams at Letna Stadium between the champions Sparta Prague and current leaders Banik Ostrava. The game was attended by 20,034 fans, which the first time since the 1997-98 season that a Czech league game was attended by more than 20,000 fans. The big derby ended in a 1-1 tie, which assures Banik the title of "Winter Champion"
