Basinas, who missed a penalty in a goalless friendly for Panathinaikos against Portsmouth in August and then spurned a similar opportunity in the Champions League clash with Arsenal in November, is reported to be ready to leave the Greek side. There are unlikely to be a flurry of arrivals next month, however, with Portsmouth's players impressed by how Zajec has operated so far and the feeling apparently mutual stay away :nono: see look how shitty ESPN is. They write up about a possible transfer to portsmouth (basinas) and all they mention about the player in his big accomplishments is his 2 penalty misses this season, one in a friendly and another with Arsenal. nevermind the whole winning the double, and the EURO with greece etc.... stupid espn. if it were some english peice of trash they would do differently.
