Having a guy like Glazer put in a bid for PAOK would be a wonderful thing. Imagine, he would pump money into bringing in big name players, toss some money at bringing in a big name coach, maybe fix up or even erect a brand new Toumba. PAOK would win the A' Ethniki repeatedly and start competing with the big teams for the CL final.

PAOK would be an everyday household name in Europe and other teams and players would fear to play PAOK.

Yeah, just imagine because there is no way this guy is going to even look at a team in Greece. He's a serious businessman who is looking to invest in a club worth hundreds of millions of dollars, if not a few billion. He wants to invest in a club who has huge worldwide appeal, has an already established marketing bonanza, has their own subscription channel for God's sake. Does PAOK have any of those things? Is PAOK even close? No way.

Why would this dude choose ManU over other teams? Because he wants a huge return. It's all about money.

I wish some rich fat cat would come in a set things right at PAOK.But we're talking about Greece here. There are plenty of rich people there and most of them would never go near owning a football club. It, for the most part, is a drain on cash.

So yeah, it would be nice, but don't bet on it.

The season can still be salvaged. We are not that far behing. There are 24 more games to be played. Al lot can happen during this time. However something needs to happen. Some drastic measures need to take place. The team and the players need to get the pride in their team back. Right now it apprears the players are psychologically in the dumpster.

Let's face it, not much can change during the January transfer period. We might get couple players, but it will be a while before they make an impact. In the end we will still have to count on the majority of the players we have right now. Things can't get much worse. The players need to pick up the slack.

At this point, this is the time when the team needs the fan's support the most. I am sure the player's spirits will be lifted up in the next game against Ergotelis if they see a full Toumba. It's time for the PAOK fans to stop arguing between themselves (Anastasiadiki againt non-Anastasiadiki) and put their support behind the team.

there are definately a lot of places in Astoria that have a dish network feed.

Plaka, Plaza, Byzantio are just three that come to mind. the problem may be them being open from 9:30 am (or is that 10:30 in NY?). the best bet is to call them.

hell yeah VIZANTIO all the way.... ATHENS CAFE too!!!
