Irlandos
A former powerhouse in Europe, Crvena Zvezda - better known as "Red Star" - Belgrade, have gone down to a 0-4 humbling at the hands of Zenit St. Petersburg. It is sad that this historic team, of a country that produced so much talent in the past, has fallen so low :(
Batigol
Brutal... I remember the days when the big derby was between Red Star and Partizan. Both clubs had huge followings and like you said, produced amazing talent. What's happened over there?
Yaniotis1
I'm happy, they blew a 4-1 lead when we whipped their asses 3-0 in Greece in the champions league semis in 1971. Their supporters can't swallow it and are still making match fixing accusations till this day. I hope they fall even lower cause they are low class people. The Old Hag
They might be low class people, as you say Panatha 1, but they were European Champions in 91 against Marseille! ;) They were one of the biggest teams of Eastern Europe, along with D. Kiev. I agree that it is sad that such historic teams can get so bad as Red Star is. But, I guess that's the way it goes.
